A Flutter of Love Featuring: Gina & Paul

We are celebrating a special day for two lovebirds here at Sycamore. Happy Anniversary to residents Gina and Paul!

Gina and Paul have been together for an amazing 68 years. They grew up together in Italy, and in 1958, Gina moved to join Paul, who had moved to the United States in 1949.

They say the key to a long marriage is "a lot of sacrifice and compromise. Never point fingers during an argument. Always talk things out and listen to one another. Once the kids come along, you must work together not just for each other, but for them as well."

📣 Please meet Nate Taylor, the new Executive Director at Brandywine at Sycamore!

Nate brings 16 years of senior living experience, including the past 7 years as an Executive Director, with a strong background in activities and a specialty in dementia care. A Brandywine original, Nate began his healthcare journey with us in 2009 as an Escapades Producer and most recently served as Executive Director at our Moorestown community.

Though he earned a degree in History, Nate found his true calling serving those who lived it. As the grandson of a memory care resident, he understands firsthand the impact dementia has on families and brings heart, compassion, and joy into everything he does.

Outside of work, Nate loves spending time outdoors with his wife, Claudia, and their three boys, Mateo, Mark, and Eli, and cheering them on at football and baseball games.

Erika joins the Brandywine Monarch team as Business Development Liaison, bringing over 15 years of healthcare experience across pharmaceutical care, homecare, hospice, and subacute and long-term care. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner with a deep commitment to supporting seniors and their families.

Known for her compassionate, relationship-focused approach, Erika is dedicated to guiding families through important decisions with empathy and care. We’re excited to have her as part of The Sycamore community!
