Today's
topic portable electric heaters: 1. never use an extension cord not
rated for electric heaters; 2. never place the heater near any
combustible materials; 3. always place heaters on flat, firm and level
surfaces; 4. keep the heater dust free; 5. for built in fans that
stopped working do not use... the heater! We are here to help you in all your home care needs. Give us a call!

One more thing while we are talking about smoke detectors, if you have an attached garage, gas, propane, or oil heat/furnace/stove it is highly recommended that you have a carbon monoxide detector on each floor, in NJ it is required in all rental properties. Also have a fully charged fire extinguisher readily available. We are here to help with all your home or business needs, don't hesitate to call!

As the weather is turning towards the cold it time to replace all weak smoke detector batteries especially if you hear a chirp sound every now and then, while you are at it replace your electronic thermostat batteries for your home heating system.
