Thank you to everyone who has donated a mammogram so far this month in support of our Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser.

Approximately 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their life, and early detection is often the best indicator in survival rate. This October, we would like to invite you to schedule a screening for yourself and remind your loved ones to do the same. Then consider helping us reach our goal of providing 200 women with the same life-saving opportunity.

KCM Cares is excited to finally announce our Breast Cancer Screening Fundraiser during this Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

To follow our mission of ensuring access to compassionate, comprehensive, and high-quality medical care to our community, KCM Cares is aiming to sponsor 200 mammograms with additional follow-up testing as deemed necessary.

Our goal is to raise $63,000 to provide our community with:
200 mammograms (160$ each)
40 diagnostic mammograms with ultrasound (630$ each)
4 high-risk fine needle biopsies (1,600$ each)

Make a donation and sponsor one of our screenings today at kcmcares.org, and stay tuned this entire month as we provide updates on our progress!

KCM Meetup at NATCON!

Several members of our Executive Board, including President and CEO Dr. Kathryn Kelly, Development Committee Chair Dollie O'Neil, and Executive Assistant Will Johnston, proudly represented KCM Cares this past week at the Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Fraternity and Sorority National Convention.

Last Tuesday, Dr. Kelly was honored with admission into the Hugh McMillen Society for her years of generously supporting the National Intercollegiate Band and for funding this year's NIB reception.
