Update: Ariyana is still admitted at Shands. As most know she was taken to Cincinnati a couple weeks ago for a Tcell infusion for a virus she has. The virus has gotten worse and we are headed back to Cincinnati tomorrow for another tcell infusion. She is on an antibiotic as well for it.This needless to say has been a rough journey for Ariyana. She has been in the hospital for 85 days minus the one week she got to be out but not home. I just want to take her home! Please keep her in your prayers that this infusion will work and we have a safe flight there and back. Please send all the positive vibes you can! 💜💜

UPDATE: Not the updated we were wanting to post. Ariyana was admitted this past Monday for some stomach issues she started having over the weekend. They ran some test and she has a virus called Adenovirus. It is in her respiratory system, intestines, whole gut area, and positive in her blood stream as well. This virus is very severe in transplant patients. They started a medicine for it on Wednesday but the medicine is not helping as she is getting worse by the day. She's being flown to Cincinnati this week for a Tcell transplant. She will remain in the hospital till this infection has gone away. She has been sleeping a lot and feeling very miserable! I want to take it all away. I'm heartbroken and so scared! 😭💔 She has been through so much already I just want her to catch a break and start getting better. I'm sorry for sharing her fund raiser but at this time I have no idea when I will return to work. We are barely hanging on. If you can't donate please share and please please please say an extra prayer and send positive vibes.

UPDATE: Please send some extra prayers and positive vibes our way!! Ariyana was admitted this morning for some stomach issues she's been having the last couple of days and overall been feeling kinda icky. She's scheduled for a procedure tomorrow morning in the O.R. We won't get results for a few days from the procedure. We were hoping to go home today but we will have to wait for now. She is post transplant day 45. She's still smiling as always. We are hoping we will have a short hospital stay this time! 🤞🙏 💜 💜

PLEASE send extra good vibes and extra prayers our way! Ariyana's RSV has moved to her lower lungs. She now has pneumonia and sinusitis on top of it. They moved her to a negative pressure room. She will be treated with an antibiotic mist for 12 hours a day, 3 days in a row, and will be in an oxygen tent. She will be the oldest patient to get this treatment. This treatment is so rare that Shands does not carry the medication or the machine that administers the medicine. They have ordered the meds and are trying to get a machine from another hospital. They are hoping to have both on Monday. They said it's been over 10 years since this treatment has been used. They sent off her engraphting test this past Thursday, results will be back between 10 to 14 days. This test will show us whose cells are growing in her body. Praying to the big guy upstairs it is her sisters. 💜💜

09/19/2021

UPDATE: Today is day 23 post transplant. It has been a rough road so far. At least she still has a smile on her face. She's had a few very emotional few days this past week. Transplant hasn't gone as planned. She still has RSV and it is as bad as it can be. Ariyana has Engraphting Syndrome. Only about 20% of transplant patients get this. She was started on IVIG (immune medicine) transfusions and they are also giving her medication to boost all of her counts. Her counts are still pretty much none existing but have started slowly going up. Her wbc is 0.6 this morning, she has been 0 for over 3 weeks and normal is 5-10. Next week they will send a sample of her blood to see if it's her cells or Jess' cells that are engraphting. That takes a week to come back, then we will know if transplant worked or not. Either way she still has a long road to recovery. If it's just Jess cells she should be good and on the road to her recovery. There is a possibility it is both of their cells and if that is the case they will have to get more cells from Jess. If there isn't any of Jess cells then they would try and contact the donor from be the match. It has been over 2 years she has had to live in and out of hospitals. I just want her to be able to live a normal healthy life! Please continue your prayers and share!! 🙏💜🙏💜
