A wise woman once said, or says all of the time, "Adulthood is made up." -

There are no rules on how you have to live your life...I mean some rules to keep us safe and whatnot, but everything else is just made up!

If you make different parenting decisions than your family or friends, it doesn't mean you are doing it wrong; it means that you are doing what works for your family.

I love postpartum planning with families and giving them options they didn't even know existed. 🧡

Adulthood is made up; do what works best for your family!🧡🧡🧡

Somehow, this is an unpopular opinion in the US 🤷‍♀️

The ABCs of safe sleep are pushed: Alone, Back, Crib, without any consideration of the baby's temperament, sleep needs, nor any of the rest of the family.

There are evidence-based, safe ways for babies to sleep outside of a crib.

When I work with families, I dive deep into what may work best for your family when it comes to sleep. Also, it may change when baby is born and as baby grows.

You'll lay in your bed, with your clothes on, and Carrie will lay hands on you with energy that helps promote relaxation and healing.
