Who else thinks Sitka needs a needle exchange program?
So I have been doing my research and every booklet, and guide, how to it stresses that the IV drug users' involvement is essential. The first step is to do a needs assessment and who knows better the needs of an IV drug user and an IV drug user! So if you also believe it's time sitka had its own SAP program (syringe access point) then reach out to me. I have already ordered 100+ safe injection kits (which include everything you need from start to finish to shoot your drugs while protecting yourself and others from the spread of blood-transmitted desires, along with contraceptives, HIV testing kits, etc my plan is to organize an event for the community to come together and hand out kits and questionnaires.I think it's a good starting point to at least get the ball rolling and people talking could use as much help as I can get

Iknowmine.org is an amazing harm reduction program, and everything they offer is free, even the shipping. They have everything an IV drug user could need to practice a cleaner, safer way of doing their drugs, which benefits us all.
