Horse and human have worked together for Centuries. Gaining trust and sometimes losing it. The prey/predator relationship that I still canāt fully understand, truly amazes me. Horses are healers themselves, so it is my greatest pleasure to offer them comfort, solace, and relief in their sessions with me.
Itās been my experience that horses and riders often share issues. Whether it is the bond they share or the overwhelming empathy of the animal, an almost uncanny connection is often made. For this I try and bring to justice the equines fears and emotions while supporting the riders needs. This can be a hard balance. Sometimes a horse doesnāt truly want to heal. A protection mechanism going back years and years. PTSD in both horse and caregiver can be relevant and will full.
Helping the human obtain certain goals while never compromising the horse- that is the fine line I walk. Fortunately I have come across some of the best owners on the planet, and their horses needs are most certainly put first. The healing aspect of hands molded with my ability to clearly listen, is where my techniques stand apart. I am proud to say that at the end of a session, your horse will feel more at ease with themselves and the world around them.
It is an on going process. One which we all face. But the horse wants to be heard and acknowledged. They try their best to please and forgive our mistakes. It is my belief that these brief sessions of bodywork combining ancient Chinese practices such as acupressure as well as cranial sacral, chakra balancing, somato emotional release and massage have powerful contributing factors to the horses well-being and therefore the owners as well.
