It’s okay to slow down.

The world will try to convince you that you have to go full zoom all of the time. You don’t! All gas, no (brakes) breaks is a wild rule to live by.

But slowing down saved my life.

When I finally paused long enough to listen to my body, my breath, and my heart… everything began to change.

Sometimes healing doesn’t start with doing more.

Sometimes it starts with doing less. 🫶🏾

Are you giving enough of “you” to yourself?

If life feels chaotic or you feel stuck, it’s time to inventory your spaces.

Do you have more of you out on loan to others than you give to yourself? If so, it’s time to change that. Depletion is not the vibe we are going for in 2026.

You deserve the calm you seek.
You deserve the peace you cultivate.
You deserve love that is genuine.
You deserve spaces that uplift you.

Let them not understand your vision.
Let them not understand how you heal.
Let them say that you changed (you did).

Even well-meaning advice can add weight when someone is already overwhelmed. Not every problem needs fixing. Sometimes it needs to be seen.

I didn’t always love the person in the mirror.

I was cold to her.
I was judgmental of her.

I didn’t always know how to bring myself joy.

I knew how to show up.
I knew how to carry everything.
I knew how to push through.

Nobody teaches you how to take care of yourself when you’re the strong one.

Now I look in the mirror and actually feel good about who I am and how I live because I built habits that support me, not drain me.

You can’t keep pouring from an empty cup.
