WTF Beautifuls 💋
So we’re really doing this again?
Women starve themselves while the world calls it “wellness.”

A client posted this photo the other day and it made me gasp.
Scroll through Hollywood and the "wellness" world right now. The bodies being praised again are painfully thin and the message creeping back into the culture is the same one many of us spent years trying to undo.
Smaller, Smaller, Smaller....

I talk with women every day who are trying to repair their relationship with their bodies after decades of that message.

My entire career has been about the opposite of this skinny obsession.

The goal in my world has always been fueling your body and respecting it. My clients have a "presence" when they walk into a room. They work on strength in their posture. The things that will serve them well for decades.

I always tell my clients I want them walking around like a Roman sculpture with rock solid shoulders, a strong midsection and legs that are so powerfully built for the life they want to have decades from now. If you are my client, you are saying "yup this is what she says"....

And yet here we are again watching the culture drift right back toward celebrating women who take up as little space as possible.

What surprises me the most is how quiet so many people in this industry are about it.

I’ve been in this space longer than many people posting fitness content today have even been alive. I’ve watched the cycles. I’ve watched women get hurt by them. I am also watching the disordered obsession with trends and quick fixes.

So yes… I’m going to say something.

And I’m going to keep saying it.

Because there are a lot of us in this industry who are not interested in sending women backwards. We are here to help them become strong, capable, healthy human beings who respect their bodies.

If you’re one of the women who is done chasing “smaller” and ready to stand in your strength instead… you’re in the right place.

And trust me… there are more of us building that movement than people realize. Thanks for saying it out loud. We need more women shouting this out loud too.

Did You Know 🤔🤔🤔
Looking for a simple way to support your gut health? Try salty lemon water!

The combination of lemon and salt can stimulate digestive juices and get things moving.

Himalayan sea salt is a great option, or try Baja Gold salt if you’re prone to high blood pressure.

And if salty lemon water is too tart for you, try adding a couple of drops of liquid stevia. For added benefits, you can also add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to the mixture.

Professional Development Literacy Spotlight
Here are 10 lessons from the book "Working with Emotional Intelligence" by Daniel Goleman:

The Card of the Day is...
A new beginning based in love is on the way when the Ace of Cups appears. Today you may receive an invitation, an announcement, or some wonderful news that is based in love. This card is almost entirely white in color, symbolizing the purity of this love that is being offered, and that love and light are arriving into your day in some small way.

As a member of the Minor Arcana, it is probable that the news or offering of love that is on its way is not going to be life-changing, but one never knows how a life can change with a simple offering of love. A birthday may be celebrated, a new baby may be on the way, or wedding bells may be ringing for someone in the near future. You may also just be appreciated by someone you love in some small way today. The Ace of Cups brings a smile into your day and promises a loving new beginning.

Hello Beautifuls 💋

In March, the spring energy is getting stronger and stronger. This is the time our liver energy is starting to become most prominent.

Under the Five Element theory the color of liver energy is green, just like springtime. As spring becomes more prominent so does our liver energy.

In springtime, our liver energy is on duty and strong and the liver is vital in detoxifying the body. When the liver energy is not strong the body cannot detoxify well, which can lead to so many problems. Some people have a lot of coughing in the spring, which is mainly due to weak liver energy. Allergies are also common for some during the spring, which can also mean the stomach channel is out of balance.

Here are some Helpful Tips for Strengthening the Liver Energy in Spring:

✔Drink lots of water to help the liver detoxify

✔Be Active & Get Outside;

Physical activity is so important in springtime and for revitalizing the liver energy. Take a walk, dance, do more qigong active exercises, do things that get your body moving. Start slowly and don’t overdo but being active is so beneficial.

Fresh air, like exercise, really helps get our energy flowing so get outdoors as often as you can – weather permitting.

Take walks outdoors, garden, ride a bike, go hiking, even just sitting in the sun in your backyard or a local park and taking in all the green energy around is so beneficial.

✔Eat Green & Eat Light
Eating light and staying light is so very helpful to get the greatest benefit from the energy of food this time of year.

✔Limit the consumption of red meat and chicken and fish

During the whole, long winter, the fish are not as active, and a lot of acidic energy gets built up in the fish so when you eat a lot of fish and seafood it is not helpful to the body.

So, eat less of those until summertime when fish and seafood have been more active and have released that acidic energy.

✔Limit the consumption of sugar, as well. This is especially important for anyone with high blood pressure.

✔You don’t want to overeat or eat foods that are heavy, greasy, spicy, fried or deep-fried.

All these can make you sluggish and slow your digestion, both of which are a major drain on our body’s energy at a time when our energy wants to be alive and active.

Prepare yourself following this Qi~Full Eating guide to help keep you in harmony with the changing season so when summer is in full swing, you will be ready to take full advantage and full benefit of summer’s fire energy.

Today's Encouragement 🌱💚
Hebrews 4:12
"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

The Word of God is very much alive today as it was when it was first written. Inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16).

Did You Know 🤔🤔🤔
🦶✨ Your Feet Are Telling a Story

(And it’s not just about shoes or age)

Most people only notice their feet when something feels really wrong 😣

🔥 Burning at night
❄️ Ice-cold in bed
🧦 Shoes tight by evening
💧 Puffy ankles
🧬 Nails changing colour or texture
🦠 Fungus that improves… then returns

And so often, people are told:
🗣️ “It’s just circulation.”
🗣️ “It’s age.”
🗣️ “It’s shoes.”
🗣️ “It’s normal.”

But clinically…
👉 Your feet are rarely the problem.
They are the messengers 📩

👣 Why the Feet Speak First (Physiology 101)

Your feet are:
📍 The furthest point from the heart
📍 Highly dependent on lymphatic flow
📍 Rich in small blood vessels (microcirculation)
📍 Dense with nerve endings
📍 Constantly working against gravity

They rely on:
💚 Lymphatic drainage
🩸 Microvascular circulation
🧠 Nervous system signalling
🛡️ Immune cell delivery
🔥 Controlled inflammatory responses

When the body is under load — stress, hormones, inflammation, illness, surgery, medication — the feet often show it first.

Not because they are weak…
But because they are far away and very honest.

🔬 The Lymphatic Science Behind Foot Symptoms

The lymphatic system is responsible for:
• Transporting immune cells (T-cells, macrophages)
• Clearing inflammatory cytokines
• Removing metabolic waste
• Regulating tissue fluid balance

🚫 It has no pump
✔️ It relies on movement, breathing, muscle contraction, and pressure changes

When lymph flow slows:
⬇️ Waste clearance decreases
⬆️ Fluid accumulates
⬆️ Inflammatory signalling increases
⬇️ Oxygen delivery to tissues drops

➡️ The feet feel it first.

🔍 Common Foot Signals We Normalize (But Shouldn’t)

Do any of these sound familiar? 👀

❄️ Cold feet (especially at night)
🔥 Burning or tingling soles
💧 Puffy ankles by afternoon
🪨 Heavy, tight, achy feet
🩹 Cracked heels that won’t heal
🦠 Yellow, thickened, brittle nails
🔁 Recurrent skin or nail fungus

These aren’t random symptoms.
They’re patterns of impaired flow.

🧠 Nervous System + Inflammation Connection

Chronic inflammation doesn’t just cause swelling — it affects nerves 🧠⚡

• Pro-inflammatory cytokines increase nerve sensitivity
• Reduced lymph clearance prolongs inflammatory signalling
• Stress hormones (like cortisol) alter fluid distribution
• Fascia tightens, reducing local circulation

Result?
🔥 Burning
😖 Sensitivity
😴 Night discomfort
🦶 Restless, aching feet

🦠 A Science-Based Look at Nail & Skin Fungus

Fungal organisms are opportunistic, not aggressive.

They thrive in environments that are:
⬇️ Low oxygen
💧 Moist
🗑️ High in metabolic waste
🔥 Chronically inflamed
🛡️ Low in local immune activity

Lymphatic congestion contributes to all of the above.

This is why:
✔️ Creams help temporarily
❌ Recurrence is common
🔁 The issue keeps cycling

The surface improves — but the terrain underneath hasn’t changed.

🌿 What Actually Supports Healing (Without Overwhelm)

This is not about “doing more”.
It’s about supporting flow 🌊

💚 Gentle calf and foot movement
💚 Breath-driven lymph activation
💚 Lower-limb lymph support
💚 Reducing systemic inflammation
💚 Improving tissue oxygenation

When lymph flow improves:
✔️ Immune cells reach the area
✔️ Waste clears more efficiently
✔️ Inflammation calms
✔️ Skin and nail beds regenerate

🧬 A Clinical Insight About Nails

Nails are slow-growing tissue ⏳

Healing nail changes reflect:
• Improved circulation
• Improved lymph flow
• Reduced inflammatory load
• Better immune regulation

✨ Healthy new growth = a healthier internal environment.

✨ The Take-Home Message

Your feet are not betraying you.
They are communicating with you 🗣️🦶

They are telling a story about:
🌿 Flow
🔥 Inflammation
🛡️ Immune load
🧠 Nervous system balance

And when we listen early —
the body responds beautifully 💚
