Todays "Interesting but Little True Facts" as told by Tim. The top three reasons why Filipinos are the happiest people in the world (evidence being their constant state of laughter):
1. They live on islands. Anyone on tropical islands are happy (dismissing the fact that they know nothing different and deal with typhoons)
2. Their persecution by the Japanese led to a pretty good deal hand out from the US (dismissing the aftermath of persecution)
3. Mangos. The best mangos in the world. Mangos that have a special vitamin called Happiness (this is pretty solid).

Thought this statement was really interesting, especially the second half about the older learners performing higher than the younger ones... "Recent statistics show that 47% of online learners are over the age of 26, compared to a significantly lower age group a few years ago. While older learners initially require more technical support than younger ones, they tend to perform on par or even better than their younger counterparts once they're up to speed."
