West Bend pulled out all the stops on National Cake Decorating day, everyone enjoyed the delicious and beautifully decorated cupcakes. A cupcake makes for a great day. Congratulations Christopher Remley, Bus Driver, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Chris started his journey with West Bend 1 year ago. He is a wonderful representation of our core values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Chris also displays these core values in the community. Our families, residents and staff are so grateful for him, and he goes above and beyond with no task asked being too much. We can always count on Chris to jump in and do whatever is needed.

Chris’s mother, Mickie, and his father, Dave are also volunteers for our facility. They come once a month to perform a concert for staff and residents. Chris has a brother and sister; with five nieces and two nephews he adores. Chris graduated from St. Joseph in School in South Bend and obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science. As part of a very spiritual family, Chris enjoys spending all the time he can doing things with his church.

Chris has a great attitude and always has a smile for residents, coworkers, and the families he meets. He goes over and above every day and often wears multiple hats. He happily takes residents on shopping trips, graduation ceremonies for our residents’ family members, and has even taken residents to their loved ones’ funerals.

We are lucky to have Chris as part of our team and representing us out in the community. Congratulations and thank you, Chris, for all the special things you do.

Freaky Friday was the perfect way to wrap up Spirit Week — everyone enjoyed a soda, chips, and a bag full of candy. 🎃🕸️
