symptomatic, medicine, Dr. Masters nevertheless endorses and welcomes your interest in a more “naturopathic,” i.e. self-reliant, healthcare experience: chiropractic care. In doing so, Dr. Masters encourages healing by locating and resolving dysfunctions of the body and their symptoms, to be corrected by realignment, thereby minimizing the use of symptomatic medication and maximizing the body’s potential to heal itself, with proper guidance from yours truly. In Dr. Masters’ own words: “Wellness is a state of optimal conditions for normal function… and then some. The wellness approach is to look for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments would optimize the conditions for normal function.”

• In correcting your “vertebral subluxation,” i.e. slight dislocation or misalignment of the spine, Dr. Masters will integrate various components of chiropractic care: 1) bone, dislocation and its symptoms; 2) nervous, the disruption of the flow of information along nerve fibers caused by dislocation; 3) muscular, the muscular dysfunctions causing or caused by dislocation or misalignment; 4) soft-tissue, the tendons, ligaments, veins, and arteries surrounding and potentially implicated by the dislocation or misalignment; 5) chemical, the body’s chemical correspondence to spinal function and dysfunction, in the form of equilibrium and imbalance, respectively.

•To these ends, Dr. Masters’ clinic offers massage therapy, acupuncture, sports therapy, and pediatric care sensitive to the needs of pregnant mothers and newborn children.

• By utilizing Dr. Master's service, you will be indirectly contributing to his beneficiaries in the community of South Haven and beyond: South Haven Chamber of Commerce, Moose Lodge, Elk Lodge, Blueberry Festival, Red Cross, Al Van Humane Society, Michigan Steelheaders and Salmon Fishermen's Association.
