Good morning, everyone. I hope you all had a restful weekend. Given some recent negative feedback on some of the local FB groups, I feel the need to explain myself and defend the Tarot. Tarot reading is NOT evil, nor is it in any way associated with the devil. As with any tool, it depends solely on the user. Are their intentions good or evil? Do they have goodness in their heart, or malice? This is also the case with the Christian bible. Is the church or pastor/reverend/minister going to use the bible for GOOD, to bring out the best in people, or for what could be considered "BAD" - for purposes of control or judgement, for example.
I am what is called a Lightworker - I spread light and positivity, and try to give hope in a world that is increasingly dark, full of crime, hate and atrocities that I can't even wrap my head around. I love animals dearly and try to be a voice for them in a world that still sees them as property and objects. I am also an Empath; I feel the energy of others deeply, and can sense the energy in rooms that I enter. This gives me deep intuitive abilities, which I also use in my readings.
Tarot readings help "tap into" the subconscious mind. They indicate any struggles you might be having, relationship issues, financial issues, or work issues. They help give you answers and help bring your own intuition to the forefront. Sometimes it's hard for us to face our own truths and the Tarot helps to guide us to what our true Self is trying to tell us.
I find it extremely gratifying when I can help reassure someone about a medical diagnosis, or about relationship difficulties. My Tarot sessions aren't rushed. They are somewhat of a counseling session, using the Tarot cards combined with my intuition (in a very safe space) to help offer guidance in your life. I can also answer "yes" or "no" questions at the end of the session.
