I'm having coffee this morning and getting ready to return for a final day of educational lectures provided to the nursing students in Tangail, Bangladesh today.

These photos are from a couple of days ago. I gave a lecture on Promoting Early Mobility in the Hospital Setting for the senior nursing staff. They really loved it! And I adored their enthusiasm, participation and curiosity.

They absorbed all the education we provided including lectures on Asthma, and Early detection and treatment for Breast Cancer, Treating the Cancer Patient, COPD, and Postpartum Hemorrhage.

My team (volunteers for Partners for World Health) and I have been alternating days between the Hospital and Kadampara Brothel which is the oldest and second largest brothel in this country.

While I can't wait to sleep in my own bed, in sweetly quiet southern Maine, I feel as though my heart is full and my spirit is nourished here.

I made the obvious decision last week during my vacation to renew a commitment 🙏🏻

With Nature and her abundant community of living beings 🌷

We had some good talks, and honestly spent most of the time just being in each other's presence 🌲

It was a magical experience ✨ and I am back doing my thing with all her power and wisdom backing me up

It's difficult to imagine a better reflection than a new leaf ready to unfurl any moment now...are you feeling this energy of bursting with potential yet completely exhausted?

Right timing really is a thing. You've heard it before, the right place, the right time? Sometimes taking a beat, taking a breath, taking a sacred pause is what we need. Let nature take its course.

Spring has arrived and I feel reverence for a collective breath - how do we step our best foot forward.

In true magical fashion, at the end of my day after seeing patients in my office this book literally fell off my bookshelf and opened to the following poem ✨

Not a bad way to begin my 49th year around the sun ☀️
