Dr. Ben Canary garnered the audience's attention at the recent Worcester District Dental Society event as he discussed the mechanics of clear aligners. More than 30 members attended, enjoying a meal and the presentation.

To***co use is one of the leading causes of mouth cancer in the United States. During the 2025 Great American Smokeout today and Oral Cancer Action Month, we raise awareness about mouth cancer, its risk factors, and the need for early detection and prevention.

Know the signs, such as oral sores or ulcers that won't heal, perform regular self-exams, and see your dentist if you see anything unusual.

About 40 East Middlesex District Dental Society members gathered to learn from Dr. Zameera Fida, who presented "Comprehensive Management of Traumatic Dental Injuries."

Attendees gained practical strategies for managing trauma in the dental office, with emphasis on pulpal and periapical considerations, splinting protocols, and long-term monitoring.

Hundreds of patients came to the DCU Center on Saturday for the MDS Foundation's Mission of Mercy free dental clinic. Volunteers were humbled and honored to provide care to those in need, and patients left with a healthy smile.

Thank you to our more than 300 clinical and non-clinical volunteers, our corporate sponsors, corporate partners, and community partners, and everyone who helped make the clinic a success.
