I attended a gun show this past weekend and I will have to say that I was very disappointed and saddened at how nonchalant people handle their fi****ms. There was even a negligent discharge from a 5.56 4" AR Pistol that had been "checked" multiple times. A vendor pulled the trigger without "checking" it as "It Had Already Been Checked", luckily it was pointed at the ground and the only injury was about a 3" diameter hole about and inch deep in the floor. This happened about 20-25 yards from where I was sitting. I was flagged by more guns in 2 days at this gun show than all the times put together in the last 20 years. Another vendor right next to to me, a Gunsmith opened a customer case a 10mm 1911, picked it up and pointed the damn thing right at me, he started to work the trigger and then it dawned on him to check the chamber, I think only after seeing the loaded magazine in the case. DO BETTER! I don't excuse the behavior from the patrons, but understand it a little more as most of them probably have never had any formal training. But the vendors, come on you are supposed to be professionals. I encourage everyone that reads this, to do your part and making sure you are always being cognizant of how you handle your fi****ms all the time and take a class, teach others the proper way, encourage them to take a class.
Anyway I will get of my soap box now.
Be safe our there!
