New video up - more information on my muscle disorder, levodopa-responsive dystonia and how going low-salicylate improved it drastically. I also briefly mention that carageenan was the result of my last flare up in June that put me in bed for 2 weeks straight. Not sure if anyone else reacts to it, I thought it was safe!

Hi - New video up!
A member of the community writes, "the list you include in your site is a little bit confusing because the same foods are categorized as high and low at the same time, so how could I deal with it? Could you please suggest a safe free salicylate list of foods." This video covers a few concepts on how I compiled the list and why there are conflicting levels. I consider this a research list of foods, rather than a therapeutic list that a clinic or doctor would prescribe.

I'm glad I can eat meat! These heads were clearly grown very rapidly and didn't have a solid core - so at the most 3/4th of a pound. Glad it's winter and hardier things like potatoes are abundant and affordable. Has anyone tried growing iceberg lettuce inside?

New video up! Can psoriasis be triggered by aspirin sensitivity or salicylates in food and the environment? This video may answer your question.
-
Have any of you found relief from psoriasis with a low-sal diet? I hear a lot about eczema, acne, and rosacea, but I have yet to meet someone with psoriasis that is doing better.

His and hers chili! We were sooo tired and cold after working in the yard, I decided to make chili for something warm and hardy. For the base, I used some ground beef, chopped up a shallot, added a tiny bit of garlic powder, and added one can of black and kidney beans each (pintos had spices added). Then I added some canned spiced tomatoes to Randy's, and steamed chayote to mine. It might not look pretty, but it was delicious! Now I need to find out if I can make a cornbread with sorghum or something. Any ideas?
