If you’re commuting multiple kids to multiple sports/ still driving at 8pm/ waking early/ solo mommin…. the only acceptable answer regarding dinner is:

DISH FREE,
STRESS FREE,
NUTRIENT DENSE.

It’s gotta be doable on those days when it feels like your hair is on fire, you crack a tooth, there’s a full moon + everyone is slightly sleep deprived.

This is the standard 😂Here are some ideas to get you started:

🥣Kevins Dinner + Pura Vida frozen Veggies. 
Dump these in your air fryer and dinner is done in 20. You could double the size and have dinner done and divided up for tomorrow too. Want more? Grab a single serve rice cup (or use leftover rice) to bulk this meal up.

🥩Amylu Meatballs + Veggies + Dip.
I wish you knew that meatballs are the ultimate mom flex. So much nutrition packed into a single bite. Yes yes yes, 🙄you can make them at home and we love that—- but if you don’t have the time, Amylu brand has great ingredients. I always have their stuff stocked in my fridge for last minute meals.

🍓Koilbasa Sausage, a handful of berries + veggies + single serve hummus dip.
If you have 5 minutes to slice it up and saute the sausage this option is 10/10.

🍗Smart Additions Chicken/ Steak Pack + Fav dipping sauce.
This makes protein easy. From here I’d add on some fruit (an apple would be easy carbs + fiber) and some cheese or nuts for the fat.

🍎A Protein Shake + Apple + String cheese.
Is this the best thing you could possibly feed your people? Probs not. Do we wish we could circle the table with fresh cooked meal every night? YESSSS. But babe— we gotta be realistic. This is better than a handful of cereal and a gatorade, I promise you.

🥚Bagged salad + Hard-boiled eggs (or pre made chicken):
A moment of silence for the trader Joes salad section, shall we? Dump the toppings into the bag, add your choice of protein, close the top and shake. Eat this from the bag, like a savage while you drive to yet another practice.

🚨Just because something is simple, doesn’t mean it’s wrong. If dinner time is filled with traffic, drop offs, parent teacher meetings, or coach convos— let dinner be simple!!

Can we cool it with the time flying by non sense— hot damn. How is it the end of August? Here’s what the fam has been up to:

2. Prepping for 1st grade! Cant believe it. We pivoting to homeschool and we’re SO excited. I have a plan + a vision and if history taught me anything, it’s that it will go the exact opposite. 😂

3. I fell in love at a Riley Green Concert— not with Riley, of course 👀…. But with my guy, the life we’re living, and the fact that God picked me to love this man and to raise these boys? Are you kidding? I’m getting so old- I cry at everything now, even country concerts. It’s fine. What I’m trying to say is: I’m blessed. Also, Riley Green in Concert was 10/10

4. Beck got braces (and an expander) this summer and he was so brave. We’re prepping for another big surgery this fall. Dreading it is an understatement— this will be number 5!— but into the storm we go. Prayers for peace + quick healing are always appreciated.

5. A line I loved in The Four Winds.

6. I spent the summer at a community garden + it was one of my favorite things. It solidified what I’ve been thinking about all summer— we are made to be in relationship with others. The thing we cut out first when life gets crazy— is THE thing we are made for. I’ve been too busy to make time for important relationships in the past. But I’m learning that community is something special + you have to fight for it. It won’t happen on it’s own and culture will keep you moving fast enough that you stop reaching for it.

7. I LEARNED HOW TO MAKE A GARLIC BRAID. New life skill: acquired.

8. Happy is the new rich. Preach. 💕

9. Currently trying to decide if I’m too chicken to do a hyrox… part of me is like YES… but the other, bigger part of me is like— ew no, that sounds hard. But then I think — I’m the only girl in the house- I gotta represent. And that gets me back in the game. So we out here training… pray for me. Ha

💕Don’t forget, the point of all this is to feel good in our bodies SO THAT we can show up for the people and places that are important.

So no…it’s not “cortisol face.”
It’s more likely the fact you haven’t moved all week and your lunch was a stack of ritz crackers in the car 👀🙊

😵‍💫You think you need to “balance your hormones”…but it’s actually your 2,300 daily steps and mini muffin breakfast that are wrecking you. 👀🙊🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve spotted this in 90% of my coaching clients in 2025 and I say this with love…

✨ YES, hormones matter.
I love a woman who pays attention to what’s happening in her body.
More of that, please. 👏🏼

But also? 🙃

“My hormones are off” is not your permission slip to ignore the basics.

Because if you’re:
🥱 barely moving your body
🍩 calling a mini muffin “breakfast”
🌙 staying up late scrolling
🍕 living on snacks instead of real meals...

Your hormones aren’t the issue.
Your habits are 😮‍💨

You can’t supplement or cycle-sync your way out of a poor foundation.
You don’t need a full hormone panel.
You need to:
✔️ Move your body every day
✔️ Eat mostly whole, real food
✔️ Get some damn sleep

These basics? Support your digestion + energy + libido + mood + body composition…

…and yes ma’am, all of that affects your hormones.💡

Start here:
💩Did you p**p today?
🍽️Did you eat a real breakfast with protein?
🏃🏼‍♀️Did you move your body on purpose?
😴Did you sleep last night?

My first inclination when I see a picture of myself is to see how I look.

Do I look fit? Strong? Lean? Good? Right?

Usually judgements and critiques follow. Sometimes big and sometimes small.

I always end up here: I refuse to hate my body. To dislike it even.

I just won’t spend the prime years of my life thinking cellulite, my weight, and the size of my arms matters— despite having been conditioned to believe it’s ALL that matters.

It’s my job to guard my thoughts and protect myself from the conditioning that comes with the culture.

What really truly matters to me? The smile on my face, how hard I laughed and who I connected with.

My first thought is automatic. And usually a product of the culture or my surroundings.

My second thought?

That’s mine to own. I get to choose.

I choose to experience my joy, not cellulite.

I hope you do too❤️
