Not all peptides are created equal - and you don’t need all of them. But these are the 4 I’ve seen the most benefit from (for myself and my clients):

🔸 Glutathione
The master antioxidant. It supports detox pathways, reduces oxidative stress, and protects your cells - especially helpful if you’ve been overloaded with inflammation or environmental toxins. I prefer the injectable or liposomal version for best absorption.

🔸 BPC-157
A peptide that’s amazing for gut healing, reducing systemic inflammation, and repairing tissue. It’s ideal if you’re dealing with leaky gut, joint pain, or flares. I love that it’s oral and budget-friendly but you can also do injectable

🔸 NAD+
The ultimate cellular energy booster. If you’re struggling with brain fog, fatigue, or burnout - this one’s for you. It supports mitochondrial function and is incredibly anti-aging for those of us navigating autoimmune fatigue.

🔸 GLP-1s (like semaglutide)
These are prescription peptides used for blood sugar regulation, metabolic reset, and appetite control. They’re not for everyone - but in some insulin-resistant Hashi clients, they’ve been a helpful short-term tool when used alongside proper healing protocols.

✨ You don’t need ALL the supplements or injections - but you do need the right support for your phase of healing. And that means not relying solely on supplements or peptides but to put the right combination in place for you to heal the inflammation done by your root cause.

True or trash?! Have you ever wondered if red light therapy is ACTUALLY helpful for people with hashimotos and hypothyroidism- here’s my 2 cents!

As someone in remission with hashimotos disease, I know the importance of holistic measures and RLT is one of my favorites.

Why RLT?
▪️ Supports Thyroid Function: Several small studies have shown that red light therapy applied to the thyroid area may help reduce inflammation and potentially improve thyroid hormone production. Some people have even been able to lower their medication dosage under medical supervision.
▪️ Reduces Inflammation: Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune condition driven by chronic inflammation. Red light therapy helps by reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines and oxidative stress, creating a more balanced immune response.
▪️Boosts Energy Production (Mitochondrial Health): One of the key mechanisms of red light therapy is stimulating mitochondria to produce more ATP (cellular energy). Since many people with Hashimoto’s struggle with fatigue, this can be a big help for energy levels.
▪️Improves Mood + Reduces Symptoms of Depression: Low thyroid function often leads to mood issues like anxiety and depression. Red light therapy, especially when used around the brain (near-infrared wavelengths) and body, has shown mood-boosting effects by reducing inflammation and supporting neurotransmitter balance.
▪️Supports Hair Growth: Hair thinning is a frustrating Hashimoto’s symptom. Red light therapy can help stimulate hair follicles and increase blood flow to the scalp, promoting hair regrowth.
▪️Improves Sleep Quality: Better mitochondrial function and reduced inflammation can support improved sleep patterns — something a lot of thyroid warriors struggle with.
▪️Supports Skin Health: Red light therapy can improve skin elasticity, reduce dryness, and support collagen production — common issues for people with hypothyroidism.

Alone - RLT won’t heal you but it can be a helpful component!

Lots of great options for RLT panels and pads. If you need the link for mine, comment RED and I’ll send it your way. I like these because they are FSA / HSA eligible to use those last funds before we head into 2026!

Let’s talk about fasting with Hashimoto’s - and why I’m not a fan of the traditional approach 😬

⚠️ Water fasts?
Too intense for most women with autoimmunity. They can spike cortisol, tank your blood sugar, and leave you feeling worse - not better.

But a 5-day Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD)?
✨ Game-changer. Especially for gut health, inflammation, and metabolic reset - all without completely shutting down your thyroid or nervous system.

Here’s why I love it for Hashimoto’s:
✔️ Feeds you just enough to keep blood sugar stable
✔️ Supports cellular cleanup (autophagy) - great for immune regulation
✔️ Helps reset your digestive system and reduce bloating
✔️ Encourages fat loss without triggering the stress response
✔️ Totally backed by research - and safe when done intentionally

🔁 I do it seasonally - and now is the best time to stock up because it’s on sale.
Even if you don’t plan to do it until after the holidays, this is the time to grab it.

Everywhere you turn, someone is pushing a new supplement - for inflammation, fatigue, gut health, thyroid support, you name it.

But here’s the truth most won’t say out loud:
👉 Supplements don’t heal Hashimoto’s.
They support healing - when you choose the right ones for your body and pair them with the right protocol.

Without a custom plan, you’re just throwing money at capsules hoping something sticks… and wondering why you still feel like garbage. And most don’t know you’re too inflamed to even absorb them 🙈

✨ I’m not anti-supplement - I’m anti-random supplements.
That’s why in my healing protocols, we only use targeted support based on your root cause and inflammation damage. No more guessing.

But YES - you do need foundational vitamins + minerals daily (especially selenium, magnesium, zinc, and B vitamins). I personally use one super supplement that helps me cover those bases without juggling 8 bottles.

➡️ Drop “SUPER” in the comments if you want me to DM you the link to the one I trust or to better understand which ones you need (or don’t)!

Before you assume - I want to be crystal clear.

I was diagnosed with hashimotos disease in 2007. NOTHING worked that I tried for 10 years. But then someone helped me understand actual healing and root cause and I was in remission in 2018.

2018-2024 was that part of my healing journey that made sense. When I had symptoms flare up, I knew how to heal them. And then 2024 happened. I got the worst rounds of the flu and infections I had ever had and what normally did worked to heal, wasn’t working.

So I went back to the basics. I found out what was actually inflamed and disrupted and I put a healing plan in place to fix that specific issue. That’s the key with hashimotos- addressing your specific root cause and inflammation damage. Not generic advice but healing what YOU need to heal.

If you’re struggling with weight gain, fatigue, gas, bloating, hair loss and other symptoms like I was and you have no idea how to get it to stop - comment HELP and I can share how you can heal properly.
