IV chelation therapy is a treatment that uses the intravenous administration of chelating agents to remove heavy metals and other toxic substances from the body. This process involves the chelating agents pulling lead out from the bones, where it is often stored, and binding to the toxic metals in the bloodstream. These complexes can then be safely excreted through urine.
One of the key advantages of IV chelation is its effectiveness in reducing lead levels. Unlike oral supplement regimens, which may not offer the same level of safety and benefit, IV chelation ensures that heavy metals are removed efficiently. Oral treatments can sometimes cause released metals to circulate in the body, potentially leading to further harm because they do not get safely excreted like they do with iv chelation.
Using a sauna on a regular basis can also help to reduce toxic metals by sweating them out, however it is not always practical to spend as much time as is needed to achieve the desired outcomes. In contrast, consistent IV chelation treatments can lead to a significant reduction in total body lead levels, the elimination of other toxic heavy metals, and the delivery of essential micronutrients for targeted enrichment.
Decreasing lead and other heavy metal levels can decrease one’s risk of heart disease, dementia/cognitive decline and cancer.
