This position is for PCA (personal care aide) in Hernando County. Full time & part time opportunities available with immediate start date. Must be able to work evenings and potential weekend shifts as well.
Sign on bonus of $250 being offered. Half will be paid at 30 days of employment and the other half at 60 days.
Responsibilities:
•Various personal care services to meet the client’s needs
•Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
•Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Nursing Supervisor
•Assist patient with ADLs
•Documentation in electronic medical record
Requirements:
•High school diploma or GED
•Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required
•Current Certified CPR
•Documentation for Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
•Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance
•Current AHCA Level II background screening
•Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
•Must be eligible to work in the USA
•Must be able to use mobile smartphone to clock in and out and complete documentation
•Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
•Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
