A couple of things to share at the Connection Center (SV Senior Center):

🔷 April 14 at 1 PM – We’ll have a short, interactive session on how to recognize a stroke. A stroke can happen to anyone, and knowing the signs helps you act quickly—which can make all the difference. This will be informative and engaging!

🔷 April 21 at 3 PM – Ericka Thomas will present on Mobility, Balance, and Chronic Pain—an important topic for staying active and independent.

I wanted to share something that happened during Bingo.

In the middle of the game, we stopped—not for a break, but for something far more important.

Clista, a neuro ICU nurse, showed us how to recognize the signs of a stroke… in real time. It was simple, eye-opening, and honestly, something every one of us should know.

Because when a stroke happens, every minute counts—and waiting isn’t an option.

She’ll be back on April 14 at 1 PM. I hope you’ll join us. You never know when this knowledge could help save a life.

⚾🥣 It’s Opening Day for the Cincinnati Reds… and we’re bringing the *steer* to lunch!
