One of my favorite parts of making soap is finding ways to reuse things that would normally be thrown away.
A few days ago I asked Cinco Vidas Coffee Company to save their used coffee grounds for me. Those grounds are perfect for gentle exfoliation, and we already use them in two of our soaps.
So now your scrubby coffee soap has a little local story behind it too

Every trimming and soap end that doesn’t become a sample is intentionally given a second life as confetti soap. Nothing is overlooked, nothing is wasted—each colorful piece is gathered and reimagined into something entirely new.

This year’s batch is fragranced with a sugary-sweet lychee sorbet, soft yet vibrant, indulgent without being overpowering. The colors blend seamlessly, creating a palette that feels curated and artful rather than accidental.

It’s a quiet expression of our aesthetic and our values: thoughtful craftsmanship, creative reuse, and an unapologetic love of color. A reminder that beauty can come from anywhere—and that even the simplest remnants can be transformed into something joyful, intentional, and unmistakably part of this line.

Soap Rack Update – Jan 3, 2026
Current count: 855 bars of amazing goats milk soap on the racks.
One batch of Rosemary Shampoo Bars curing.
Which one is your favorite Rump Scrubbers soap bar scent?

We’re out of shea butter for the bar soap and a few ingredients for shampoo bars + foaming sugar scrub.

Since those are fairly important, we’re going to takeca country drive and get lunch a few hours away.

Ingredient restock lands Monday or Tuesday. Production resumes immediately.

Soap rack update 🧼
34 loaves poured so far, 19 bars per loaf — that’s 646 bars curing on the racks right now.
They’ll be ready to package at the end of the month, and yes… it smells amazing in here.
Handmade, small batch, and worth the wait.

🚨 Soap Alert: Stock is LOW! 🧼

Each rack normally holds 1,500 bars… now we’re down to about 50-ish after an amazing season! Between back-to-back shows, I haven’t had a chance to make more, and it takes 4–6 weeks for new batches to be ready.

If you’ve been waiting to grab your favorites, this is your moment — once they’re gone, it’ll be a while before fresh bars are ready! I’ll be back in the soap room mixing, pouring, and cutting to keep you all cleaned up.

As we close out our final market of 2025, our hearts are so full. This season brought growth, challenges, and so many moments of gratitude. To everyone who showed up, supported our small business, and trusted Rump Scrubbers enough to empty our shelves at each market—thank you.
