We’re excited to feature Dr. Bonaventure Ngu, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at Minivasive Pain & Orthopedics!
📚 Dr. Ngu earned his MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, completed his orthopedic residency at Shock Trauma Center, and went on to complete a spine fellowship at the Leatherman Spine Institute. He specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery and is passionate about restoring patients’ quality of life.
✨ Get to know Dr. Ngu:
❓ What do you find most rewarding about your job?
➡️ Seeing patients heal after surgery. Surgery is problem-solving, and I’m honored that patients trust me with their care.
❓ What made you want to get into healthcare?
➡️ A love for helping people combined with my passion for problem-solving.
❓ Hobbies?
➡️ Playing golf, traveling, and spending time with my four wonderful daughters.
❓ Favorite food?
➡️ I’m vegan/vegetarian—and tofu is my favorite!
❓ Where did you grow up?
➡️ Cameroon, West Africa.
❓ Favorite place to visit?
➡️ Anywhere I can explore new cultures and connect with people from all walks of life.
