Arisa Health Honors Mrs. Griffin-Holbert, Siloam Springs Northside Elementary Counselor, as a 2026 Mental Health Champion!
This dedicated school counselor remains composed during crises and when students experience dysregulation. She is always eager to support them and communicates positively about their growth potential. Mrs. Griffin-Holbert is a true team player, collaborating with both Arisa and the school behavioral team.
Mrs. Griffin-Holbert goes above and beyond to meet the individual needs of students every day. She actively engages with teachers in their classrooms and partners with families to ensure the best outcomes for students. Her initiatives include organizing events such as Career Day, promoting attendance incentives and programs, and providing immediate support for students facing crises or behavioral challenges.
Mrs. Griffin-Holbert is renowned for her patience and calm demeanor within our school. In the face of various severe behaviors, she adeptly assesses and addresses situations without judgment toward students or teachers. She collaborates diligently with parents and educators to devise solutions that foster student success.
In addition to her individual efforts, she reinforces positive expectations across the school by teaching classroom lessons, planning enjoyable events, and engaging the community. Her contributions help create a positive, calm, and safe environment at Northside, where students can thrive and grow.
In celebrating National School Counseling Week, six counselors across Arisa’s regions were selected as 2026 Arisa Health Mental Health Champions. Dozens of messages of appreciation came in from across the 41 counties we serve, reflecting the essential role school counselors play in student success.
