Today, Joshua will finally have his port taken out 🙏🏻

Today, Arkansas Children’s Northwest hosted the annual HOPE FOR HEROES picnic during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month🎗️
Back in 2019, they had their very first picnic but we did not get to attend since Joshua was really sick and recovering from super low immune system 🙁
But today we got to enjoy it and it was amazing! Joshua loved it and we couldn’t miss the opportunity to take pictures with some of our favorite people 💛
All I can say is, I’m so happy that he was having so much fun like he never was diagnosed 🙏🏻
It was a beautiful way to end Childhood Cancer Awareness Month💛🎗️

Hello to all of Joshua’s friends 👋🏻
It’s been a while since I’ve updated about Joshua! We have been visiting his oncologist once a month! All of his labs are looking great and his doctor is very pleased with it 🙏🏻
He is also taking some physical therapy and he loves it 😉
Not much else to say! We hope everyone is having a great summer 😎☀️🌻🌳

Joshua had his 4th grade graduation ceremony today 🎓
It’s hard to believe he’s going into 5th grade this year 🥺
Cancer stole his whole 4 years of elementary school 😔 but he is happy to be back to school in person this coming August 🎒✏️

We had a great time attending The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Visionaries of the Year gala🩸
Joshua is the Honored Hero of the year and we are more than thankful for everything the candidates have done to fundraise for all the patients that go through this horrible disease🩸
It’s amazing how the community comes together to help fund research for a better future for blood cancer 🙏🏻
For a world without blood cancer🩸🚫
We also enjoyed sharing a table with Alexa La Guerrera 🥰 such a wonderful and nice family 💛 (peek the cute boomerang Josh and Lexi did at the Photo Booth 🥰)

Joshua had his monthly appointment at Arkansas Children’s Northwest and it went super well 🙏🏻 the best part besides his bloodwork being great is seeing all this amazing human beings 🥹 specially this angel of a man called his oncologist 🙏🏻 we truly love him 💛 he’s the sweetest and funniest person ever 🥰
