Male house manager
Job description:
**Required to live on site- Free Room and Board plus weekly pay based off experience.** The House Manager plays a key role in maintaining the safety, order, and structure of the sober living home. They provide support to residents, enforce house rules, manage administrative tasks, and ensure a positive recovery-oriented atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Resident Support & Supervision Monitor and support residents in their recovery journey. Conduct regular check-ins and enforce house rules. Mediate conflicts and promote a healthy community atmosphere. Provide referrals to support services if needed. House Operations & Safety Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the home. Conduct room checks and enforce curfews. Address safety concerns and uphold a drug- and alcohol-free environment. Maintain emergency procedures and handle crisis situations as needed. Administrative Duties Oversee resident intake, orientation, and discharge processes. Keep accurate records, including incident reports and compliance documentation. Collect and manage rent payments if applicable. Report to the program director or owner on house operations and resident progress. Facilitate and document urinary test analysis. Provide transportation to all groups, appointments and meetings as scheduled. Qualifications: Experience in recovery, addiction counseling, or social work preferred. Personal experience with recovery (often required in peer-support environments). Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to uphold boundaries while fostering a supportive environment. Basic administrative and computer skills. Work Environment & Schedule: Live-in or on-call availability may be required. Evening and weekend shifts may be necessary. A high level of emotional resilience and commitment to recovery principles is needed.
