ACPMP is remembering Stuart Scott today. On Wednesday, December 10 at 9 PM ET, ESPN will honor his legacy with a new installment of its 30x30 documentary series, Boo-Yah: A Portrait of Stuart Scott.

Stuart helped redefine sports broadcasting with courage, authenticity, and heart. He passed away from appendix cancer on January 4, 2015, but his words continue to inspire so many.

“You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live. So live. Live. Fight like hell. And when you get too tired to fight, lie down and rest and let somebody else fight for you.”

"I first became involved with ACPMP in the summer of 2025 after receiving a LAMN diagnosis during an emergency appendectomy. ACPMP’s work matters to me because I had never heard of appendix cancer until my own diagnosis, and I know others may find themselves in similar situations.
