For more than 30 years, Africa Tabernacles has been building permanent places of worship across Africa in partnership with the national church.

This is our vision:
To see Africa transformed one community at a time through permanent worship structures that empower the local church. By building 100+ tabernacles annually and expanding workshops across the continent, we envision sustainable, local partnerships that bring the gospel within walking distance of every person in Africa.

Since 1991, we’ve worked alongside local believers — not as outsiders building for them, but as partners building with them.

Hundreds of churches now stand as permanent beacons of hope in communities where the gospel is taking root and multiplying.

Every structure has a story.
Before the steel is raised, there is already a pastor faithfully leading, a congregation gathering, and a community hungry for Jesus. They may meet under a tree or in the open air, but they are already the Church.
The tabernacle simply gives permanence to what God is already doing — a covering for worship and a foundation for what’s to come.

We believe the strongest ministry happens through partnership.
For more than 30 years, Africa Tabernacles has worked alongside the African national church — not over it, not around it, but with it.

We provide the initial structure and resources.
Local leadership brings wisdom, vision, and long-term oversight.

We honor local ownership because the Church in Africa is not a project — it is the Body of Christ, led by faithful pastors and believers called to serve their own communities.
Our role is to strengthen what God is already doing.
When local churches are empowered to build local churches, the impact lasts for generations.

Africa Tabernacles exists to transform communities by helping them build permanent structures that empower the local church.

We mobilize teams from the U.S. to partner with already-established local churches that need a permanent structure. Together, we construct the building in a single day — and throughout the process, we share the Gospel, serve alongside local believers, and invest in lasting relationships.

We believe in building permanent structures for eternal impact.
