Herb Highlight 🌿✨

Yarrow⛑️🩹

One of our favorite super healers. Yarrow has a lot of interesting history. Native Americans across the nation had utilized yarrow from everything from tooth aches to cramps. In WW1 it was utilized by soldiers for its ability to stop bleeding and treat wounds. Yarrow also has other benefits such as supporting immune health, breaking fever, aiding digestive bloating, and has anti inflammatory/antiseptic properties that can also be utilized for skin issues like rashes or acne.

Thyme!!

You might not know it but thyme can be very beneficial during sick season. It can work wonders as a cold and cough remedy. Thyme can also be utilized as an effective disinfectant; externally as a wash and internally to help fight off infection. An easy way to get the benefits of thyme is adding it to your dishes! It is also another easy plant to grow💚

Holy Basil (Tulsi)

Holy basil is a wonderful plant that is believed to give overall vitality, ease anxiety, fight infections, promote heart health, blood sugar management, improve cognitive function, promote gut health, & aid digestion.

How can you utilize Holy Basil? Add it to tea, supplement, or use a tincture! It is one of our favorite to use and grow!

I just want to say I am so grateful for everyone that was able to help with our food drive! Our community is so amazing and to see so many willing to help fills our hearts. We got to donate to one of the few places in Springfield that doesn’t require ID to receive help, The Connecting Grounds. After meeting with the donation coordinator we learned that this nonprofit group doesn’t receive state funding. When you receive funding you must require identification to those receiving assistance. This is something that our homeless friends may not have access to. We couldn’t do this without all of you & a big thank you to Mystical Thoughts Shop for being our drop off location🫶🏻
We were so eager to donate we didn’t even picture all the food but there was about two shopping carts full!
