This week we celebrate another graduation!!! Help us lift up Shania P. — a true example of perseverance and resilience.

Her journey hasn’t been easy. There have been moments where she was knocked down, where giving up might have seemed like the easier path… but Shania chose to get back up. Again and again. That’s where real strength is found.

She has proven that there are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going. Every step she’s taken has been earned through hard work, determination, and an unwavering motivation to succeed — no matter what.

Along the way, she reached an incredible milestone — 1 year sober — a reflection of her commitment not just to recovery, but to a completely new way of life.

Shania is continuing on to Phase 2, and we have no doubt her willingness to recover out loud will keep inspiring those around her.

We are proud of you, Shania. Keep rising. 💛

Today, we celebrate Sarah Hammond's 11 years of recovery!

Sarah started at FCS as a helpline specialist, then became a shift lead, working countless hours on Help4WV answering calls, updating resources, and mentoring new employees. She is now our Employee Service Assistant, helping to care for our 200+ staff members.

Sarah Goff celebrates 7 years of recovery today! Sarah has been with First Choice Services since 2020, and she is now a PROWD (Partnerships for Reentry Opportunities in Workforce Development) Peer. She specializes in supporting those who are reentering society after incarceration.
