It’s been my privilege to serve as assistant speech coach this season. Most notably, because I have spent each Saturday with our eldest.
In true form, I have managed to overcommit myself. To take on too much. To experience grace. To recognize my limitations.

And to realize just how much I love her.
How much the hardship will go down as one of the greatest seasons of my life.
And to realize, how much I will miss her when this season is gone.

Speech kids are athletes in their own right. If you have not experienced it, it’s hard to explain. It’s hard to compare.
But I want to impart, that she has given her high school career all that she has.
She leaves nothing out on the court.
And I am so grateful that I got to be here for it.
