As a mama of 4, itās my job to remind my babies every day that NO, is not a bad thing.
Saying No, is a boundary.
Saying No, is a form of protection.
Saying No, is OKAY.
Growing up as a āYes, people pleasing perfectionistā I put SO MUCH PRESSURE on myself.
Instead of doing what was right, or following my intuition, which I truly believe is the I would often succumb to silence for fear of bucking the tides or people not liking me.
But the older I get the less I fear people disliking me and the more I fear missing out on the true calling for which I am created forā
I am created to have a voice.
I am created to encourage people to find their walk that was established before the beginning of time.
I am created to love abundantly.
I am created to ask the hard questions and seek the hard truth.
I am created to mess up, not be perfect and not be condemned for mistakes.
I am created to be exactly who God designed me to be and shame was NEVER part of the plan.
With the world being chaos, I have to ask myself. Do I shut up and sit down as some have suggested?
Or do I say NOT TODAY SATAN, dig deeper and share my findings and know that my God is sovereign.
If you know me, you know the answer. If you donāt and donāt want to, thatās okay too. Follow. Donāt follow. Just know I wonāt hate you, nor dislike, nor harbor anything against you for whatever you choose.
Matthew 7 tells us clearly not to judge and to be 100% honest when we leave that up to God, our lives get that much simpler and we can love on levels we never thought possible.
