To the mama sitting in her closet right now, wrapping presents with tears in her eyes…

The one who’s been saying “no” to herself for months so she could say “yes” to them.

No new jeans even though yours are wearing through. No girls’ night because babysitters cost money. No that coffee, no that lunch out, no that thing that would’ve made you feel like yourself again—because every dollar had a name on it, and that name wasn’t yours.

You’ve been awake at 3am, heart pounding, refreshing pages for lightning deals. You’ve done the math in the grocery store parking lot, choosing between the name brand they love and the extra $3 in your cart budget. You’ve smiled through “I really want…” conversations while your stomach twisted, wondering if you could make it happen.

They’ll understand that love isn’t about what’s under the tree.

It’s about the woman who gave up everything to put it there.

And then chose to give them something even better—herself, present and soft and here, in these fleeting moments that slip away too fast.
You are enough, mama.
You have always been enough.
Now please, please let yourself rest in their arms tonight.
They just want you.
