This week I had the honor of holding space for the incredible team at Haven Hospice through a Calming Echoes sound bath.
I’ve been volunteering with Haven for about three years. I first started through their NODA program, No One Dies Alone, where trained volunteers sit with patients nearing the end of life who may not have loved ones present, offering comfort so no one has to leave this world alone.
These nurses, volunteers, and staff give so much of themselves to patients and families every day, so this week I held space for them.
We spent about 90 minutes together with breath work, guided meditation, and a sound bath to help them slow down & receive a little of the care they give so freely to others.
Hospice plays such an important role in our community. If you’ve ever considered volunteering or giving back, I’d be happy to share how you can get involved.
Moments like this remind us how powerful love, presence, and simply holding space for one another can be. 💛💫✨
