We tend to over-complicate weight loss, when in fact, the simplest approach is the BEST approach. 💯

I want you to consider our ancestors. They implemented strategies that worked without even knowing they were strategies ⬇️:

✅ eating whole foods (the food IS the ingredient)
✅ intermittent fasting (our ancestors naturally faced times of famine)
✅ daily MOVEMENT (there were no automobiles, etc., and physical labor was a way of living)

Somewhere along the way, we moved away from SIMPLE strategies that work.

The consequence?

More people than ever are struggling with being overweight, obesity, and other health-related issues. 💯

The multi-billion-dollar diet industry fooled us, and in turn, we’ve over-complicated it. We started doing the following and ultimately, these complicated strategies backfired:

🚫 Eating low-fat or fat-free food
🚫 Eating processed foods
🚫 Eliminating food groups
🚫 Eliminating carbs
🚫 And MORE!

It isn’t a coincidence that our overall health declined after these strategies were introduced…

You can’t escape the hard…🎤

Listen, I get it.

Change is hard, but is necessary to become the person you want to be.

Do you know what else is hard?

Staying the same. 💯

Working out is hard.

So is not being able to play on the floor with your grandkids.

Eating healthy is hard.

So is carrying around 50 extra pounds.

Having tough conversations is hard.

So is having a distant relationship.

💥 The point is, you can’t escape the hard! So why not choose the hard thing that is actually going to move you closer to your goals?
