Team Tech Boy, today is World Autism Awareness Day 💙 — and this one’s personal for me, because I’m autistic.

My brain works differently. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it. The way I see patterns, lock in on what I love, and approach problems from angles others miss? That’s not a bug. That’s the whole feature.

My brain works differently, and honestly? That’s one of the things I’m most proud of. The way I see patterns, dive deep into what I love, and think outside the box isn’t a flaw — it’s a feature.

Being part of this program last year was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The memories, the lessons, the magic — I carry all of it with me every single day. But what I treasure most? The friendships. I met some of the most incredible people, and we still keep in touch to this day. 💙

What’s up I know I haven’t been posting as much lately, but life has been busy in the best way. I’ve been working hard to finish my 3rd comic book while also touring colleges, and it’s honestly surreal. I still can’t believe I started Team Tech Boy at just 12 years old, and now I’m at the point of visiting colleges and thinking about the future. Grateful for every step of this journey. 💙

Tech Boy is a children’s comic about a teenager named Tyriq Summerbird who gains technology-based powers in Cyber City, Missouri, and must stop the evil Titan Ray from destroying the city. Along the way, the story encourages young readers to explore STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. As a young author, Strickland created this book to inspire youth to get excited about science and technology.

What’s up Had an amazing time at celebrating my little sister Sarina’s 9th birthday! 🛼🎉 My family and friends had an absolute blast skating, laughing, and making memories together.

What makes this place even more special is that The Skate Haus is a BLACK OWNED skating rink, and it’s incredible to see a space like this in the community where families can come together and have fun. Please go out and support!

Another thing that meant a lot to me personally is that they lower the lights for neurodivergent kids. As someone with autism, it really means a lot to see places being thoughtful and inclusive so everyone can enjoy themselves comfortably. That kind of consideration matters.
