Melissa’s gentle yet direct communication style and credentials - both in a medical and IBCLC capacity - are impressive but are eclipsed by her obvious care for her clients. She was an absolute asset during a very fraught, confusing and emotional postpartum season. I would recommend to anyone!

I will always remember the prayer I prayed in the fall of 2011 while struggling to breastfeed and manage postpartum depression, "God don't let me waste this pain." He has faithfully answered that prayer year after year, and with every client I have been blessed to support. It's reviews like the one from the client above that remind me that God truly wastes nothing in our lives.

My postpartum doula heart is FULL!
I was reminded during an appointment today, what a blessing it is to give the gifts of truth and dignity to postpartum families.

The longer God allows me to do this work I see the truth in the verse Isaiah 61:3. God gives us beauty for ashes, and gladness instead of mourning. Each time I care for a baby so a mother can rest. Each time I wash the dishes so a father can continue to work from home. Each time I sit with a mother in tears then smiles because she knows she's not alone. The pain of my postpartum journey has been redeemed so I can help others. So thankful.
