🔥 Sriracha Grilled Tofu (Sweet, Spicy & Crispy!)
This bold, flavor-packed tofu brings the heat and the crunch — perfect for topping bowls, salads, or serving as a holiday appetizer with a kick. 🌶️

Ingredients
1 block firm tofu, pressed
2 tbsp sriracha
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp chili powder
ÂĽ cup water or vegetable broth
ÂĽ cup tapioca or arrowroot starch
ÂĽ cup unbleached all-purpose flour

Directions
Slice pressed tofu into your desired shape (strips, cubes, or steaks).
In a shallow dish, mix together sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, smoked paprika, chili powder, and water/broth.
Add the tofu and gently toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors soak in.
In a separate bowl, mix starch and flour. Lightly coat each tofu piece just before cooking.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry tofu for about 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crisp.
Serve hot with extra sriracha drizzle or a squeeze of lime. 🔥

🍠 Candied Sweet Potatoes (Plant-Based Perfection)

Sweet, buttery, and full of warm holiday spice — this dish brings cozy comfort to any table. Perfect as a side or dessert-style treat! ✨

Ingredients
2–3 medium sweet potatoes
½ cup sugar
½ cup unsalted butter (vegan or regular)
ÂĽ cup water
1 tbsp cinnamon (plus extra for sprinkling)
ÂĽ tsp clove
½ tsp allspice
ÂĽ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cardamom

Directions
Peel and slice sweet potatoes into 1-inch half-moon chunks.
Add all ingredients to a pot and stir until the potatoes are well coated with sugar and spices.
Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top for good measure.
Cover and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Tip: Stir gently to avoid breaking the potatoes.
Note: Cooking too slowly can make them mushy; too fast, and the sugar and spices won’t soak in fully.

Serve warm and enjoy the sweet, spiced goodness!

Let’s be real — one of the hardest parts of going plant-based is talking about it with the people you love. Family and friends usually mean well, but they can be a little misinformed. This is your chance to teach, encourage, and lead by example. 💚

Here are a few common objections (and how to respond):

🥦 “Is this even healthy? What about protein?”
Absolutely! Studies show a plant-based lifestyle can lower your risk of heart disease and diabetes — two of the most common health issues in the U.S.

🍠 “Plant foods taste bland.”
I get it! But trust me — my food is anything but bland. When prepared and seasoned well, plants are full of flavor and satisfaction.

🥗 “I could never give up meat.”
That’s okay — this is your journey, and this is my choice. Everyone moves at their own pace.
