New name alert!!! That's right, my business' name has changed from Emily Lanspa Counseling LLC, to Emily Mitchell-Harris Counseling!

A few other changes to note: I have moved from Missouri to Wiscosin and transformed my therapy practice to full Telehealth! I am also narrowing my client focus to teens and young adults instead of 3 to infinity. As a therapist in private practice it feels empowering to begin honing in on my niche and discovering who I work best with and where I see myself doing the most good for my clients.

I hope to continue to grow in my speciality with teens and young adults and what I can offer via telehealth. Your support has meant the world to me and I appreciate your continued support as I grow as a business.

Today was very inspirational and I hope that all kids, and adults too, feel loved and respected so that they can reach for their dreams, creating a beautiful future. It’s never too late to learn something new and never too early to begin teaching it! Before I started my private practice and providing therapy in middle schools, I was blessed to be a part of Wyman Center’s Teen Outreach Program, teaching these skills to middle schoolers in a classroom setting and watched them practice them in their daily, everyday lives. It’s truly necessary that society welcomes social-emotional learning as a fundamental skill set and it’s heart warming and magical to see children using these skills! I now teach and practice these skills with my clients and will continue to advocate to get these topics in schools curriculums!!
