Know how you mow your lawn, and it looks perfect...but by the next morning, a pesky w**d has shot up out of nowhere?
It's the same in life and business.
The w**ds (self-doubt, procrastination, clunky processes, external obstacles, unchecked bad habits)...
..pop up faster and easier than the grass you're trying to grow (goals, momentum, scalability, profit).
Unlike grass, w**ds don't NEED help growing. They just thrive through neglect and avoidance.
So before you head into your next season, let's do a quick "w**d check."
1️⃣ Spot the w**ds:
- What thoughts are a constant drain?
- What unchecked habit is slowing your momentum?
- Example w**ds: "I'm not ready yet", compulsive doom-scrolling, ignoring clunky processes.
2️⃣ Go for the root:
- If you just cut the top off the w**d, it's still gonna come back. Try to identify the belief or fear under the behavior, or the primary cause of a secondary problem - that’s the root.
- If you can’t get the root right now? Pull what you can see, and just keep after it.
3️⃣ Tend to the grass:
- Don't forget to actively focus on what you want to grow.
- Are you neglecting the areas of your life that need intentional effort (grass seed)?
- Time to water and nurture those things.
Weeds aren't flaws. They're just things that need to be recognized, and tended to.
