We don’t stay stuck because we lack motivation—we stay stuck because we lack a grounded structure.

I was sitting with a few women recently after a workshop, and we did something that most people skip. Instead of just packing up our notes and heading home with "good intentions," we opened the laptops and took the first step right then and there. (There is something so powerful about the clicking of keys and the "Aha!" moments that happen in real-time.) 💻

I loved watching them move from "I’m not sure where to start" to "Okay, I see the next three steps." We weren't just staring at a screen; we were building the bones of their next 90 days. It’s that gap between who you are and who you want to be that we’re closing, one tiny action at a time. ✨

When your "What" becomes clear, the "How" starts to appear. But you have to be willing to pause long enough to get that Alignment right first. If you're just busy without being aligned, you're just running in place. 👟

You don’t have to navigate the messy middle alone. Sometimes you just need someone to sit across the table, lean in, and help you find the right keys to start the engine. ☕️

Success at year 30 doesn't look the same as success at year one. 📈

(And neither do the systems required to sustain it.)

I’m sharing this review today because it represents something far deeper than a "happy client." It represents what happens when a seasoned professional is brave enough to say, "I have the experience, but I’m ready for better alignment." We’ve been working together for about 10 months now. In a world obsessed with "overnight results" and 30-day hacks, her journey is a masterclass in what actual growth looks like. It isn't a lightning bolt; it’s the steady, quiet work of staying in the process long after the initial excitement has faded.

Her results today are the direct outcome of a consistent commitment to:

• Operational Integrity: Trading "messy" manual processes for clean, automated best practices.

• The AIM Framework: Moving from reactive "firefighting" to high-level Intention.

• Alignment: Ensuring her daily schedule actually reflects her highest priorities, not just the loudest distractions.

Whether you’ve been in business for 3 years or 30, change doesn’t happen overnight—but it does happen when you choose to stay the course. When you commit to the alignment, the momentum eventually takes on a life of its own.

My most sincere thanks go to my clients for their trust and for letting me link arms with them in this work. 💫

Today is one of those days where the world gets very loud about one specific thing.

And look, if you’re leaning into the flowers and the celebration today—I love that for you. Truly. (And I hope the chocolate is the good kind!) Enjoy every bit of it.

But I also know that for some of you, today is just... Saturday. Or maybe it’s a day that feels a little bit like a spotlight on a gap you’re currently walking through.

And then there’s my house—where my Valentine is actually sick in bed today. (So much for the big romantic plans, right?) It’s just a reminder that "special" looks different for everyone, every single year.

I just wanted to pop in and say that wherever you land on the spectrum today, you are seen. Your value isn’t tucked inside an envelope or tied to a dinner reservation. It’s inherent. It’s steady. And it’s not going anywhere. 💖

I’m so grateful for this community and the way we "do life" together—the high-momentum days, the sick-in-bed Saturdays, and everything in between. 🕊️

Taking a breath with you today. 🌿

Now, if you'll excuse me, it’s time for me to go prep another round of hot tea and check the clock for the next dose of meds. Duty calls!

Discipline isn't about being a drill sergeant. It’s just a choice between what you want now and what you want most. 🧱

(Side note: This post is a day late because my husband (James) shares a birthday with Abe Lincoln! We were busy celebrating the one I actually live with yesterday. Happy birthday to both of these great men. 🥳)

If you’ve been stuck in the "now," give yourself some grace. Awareness is the first step toward what matters most. ✨

My mom caught this photo of me recently while we were at the aquarium. I didn't even know she was taking it. 📸

When I look at it now, I’m struck by how rare these moments actually feel. For most of us—especially high-achieving leaders—we are usually the ones "holding the camera." We’re the ones observing, managing, planning, and making sure every detail is handled for everyone else.

We spend so much time being "on" that we sometimes forget what it feels like to just be still.

In this moment, I wasn't thinking about my inbox. I wasn't thinking about a project timeline or a client call. I was just... looking. I was letting the scale of what was in front of me remind me that while I carry a lot, I am also part of a much bigger, beautiful design that doesn't require my management to keep moving. ✨

As leaders, we often carry the weight of our organizations, our teams, and our families like it’s all up to us to keep the water flowing. We get so caught up in the "doing" that we lose our sense of wonder. And I’ve found that when you lose wonder, you eventually lose your momentum, too.

Real clarity doesn’t always come from staring at a spreadsheet or a strategic plan. Often, it comes from the intentional interruptions—the moments where you stop being the one "in charge" and just allow yourself to be. 🌿

(I’m so grateful my mom caught this, because it reminded me that it’s okay to step out of the lead for a minute.)

If you’re a leader who has been carrying a heavy load lately, I want to encourage you to find your own version of this "unseen pause." You don’t have to go to the aquarium, but you do have to decide that your peace is worth the interruption.

I’m curious—where can you take an intentional breath today? What’s one thing you can "look up" at that reminds you the world is bigger than your to-do list? 👇

I wanna clear something up.

Sometimes people think that my Momentum Reset workshop is a place where I'm going to ask them to hustle harder.

Maybe that's because of who I am as a person. 😅

Or maybe it's because it seems like the world is all about hustle culture right now.

But I just want to assure you...it's not that.

🚫 The Myth:

You’ll leave with a massive, overwhelming to-do list and a lecture on how to "grind" more effectively.

🎯 The Reality:

- We aren’t there to squeeze more into your already overflowing calendar.

- We’re there to clear the mental noise so you can find a direction that actually feels doable.

- We look at the systems we’re falling to, instead of the goals we’re trying to rise to.

It’s about alignment...not more activity.

And for the next day, early bird is running where you can get in on it for 50% off!

I was scrolling and caught this quote from James Clear today:

"Guilt lives in the past. Worry lives in the future. Peace lives in the present."
Ouch. This one stepped on my toes just a little bit. 👟

How often do we let "Past You" and "Future You" take up all the mental real estate? We’re busy replay-ing a conversation from Tuesday or panic-planning for a "what if" in 2027, and meanwhile, "Present You" is just trying to find where you put your keys. 🔑

(Hint: They’re probably in the fridge. Don't ask me how I know.)

In all seriousness, when we’re stuck in guilt or worry, we’re essentially trying to live in two time zones at once. It’s exhausting, and it’s the fastest way to kill your momentum. 🛑

Peace isn't something you "achieve" once you’ve fixed the past or secured the future. It’s what happens when you decide to actually inhabit the moment you’re standing in right now.

It’s about Alignment. It’s about getting your head and your heart into the same room.

I’d love to hear... which "time zone" have you been spending the most energy in lately? The Past, the Future, or are you finding that sweet spot in the Present? 👇

I am so grateful the Professional Women's Alliance (PWA) team caught some photos—because I was so busy talking systems that I completely forgot to take a single one myself! 🤦‍♀️📸

Looking back at the January 14th Power Luncheon, I’m still reflecting on our conversation about why hard work isn't the hack—systems are. As a "recovering workaholic," I know firsthand how exhausting it is to operate in a reactive state. During my 25-minute "Executive Edge" session, we focused on moving from complexity to simplicity using the AIM Framework. The big realizations from the room:

• Applying the 4D Rule (Do, Defer, Delegate, Dump) to finally silence the "silent killer" of productivity: the inbox.

• Leaning into Google Gemini as an "AI Chief of Staff" to summarize threads and protect our mental energy.

• Shifting our focus to Leading Indicators so we can scale with real intention.

To the amazing women at PWA: Thank you for the warm welcome (and for being my unofficial photographers!). 🤩

To everyone else: If you’re still working 50+ hours a week and feeling like you’re just "putting out fires," let’s make 2026 the year you build a system that actually makes life amazing. 🔥

**Permission to breathe (not hustle harder).** 🌿✨

If you’ve been hanging around here for a while, you know I talk a lot about **"Momentum."** To me, momentum is the lifeblood of a healthy business and a peaceful life—it’s that feeling of moving forward with clarity instead of just spinning your wheels. 🎡

Every quarter, I host something called a **Momentum Reset**, where I sit down with business owners and leaders to help them get unstuck and back on track. 🛤️

But I just got back from one of my favorite places—right at the water’s edge 🌊—and while I was taking my own reset, it hit me that I might need to clear something up for those of you who are just getting to know me.

When people hear the phrase "Momentum Reset," I think there’s a secret fear that I’m going to ask them to hustle harder. 🏃‍♀️💨 That it’s just another high-pressure session where we try to squeeze more productivity out of an already exhausted schedule. 📉

**But here’s the truth: Momentum doesn’t come from force.** 🛑

It doesn’t come from white-knuckling your way through a giant to-do list. In fact, that’s usually what leads to the start-stop cycle that leaves us feeling so frustrated in the first place. 🔄

The Reset is actually a *compassionate pause.* 🤍 It’s not about doing more; it’s about **alignment.** We aren't there to overflow your calendar. We’re there to clear the mental noise so you can find a direction that actually feels doable in the middle of your real, complex life. 🕊️

Because when you’re aligned with what matters, moving forward doesn’t feel like a chore. It feels like a breath of fresh air. 🌬️

If you want more reflections like this—and a little encouragement in your inbox for the journey—I’d love for you to join my **Do Life Together** newsletter community. It’s where I share the real stories, the behind-the-scenes, and the lessons I’m learning right alongside you. 🤝💌

**I'm putting the link to join the newsletter in the comments below.**

(P.S. For my newsletter family, I’m currently offering a special **1/2 off** for our next Momentum Reset options—both in-person and our brand-new virtual power lunch. Check the comments for that link, too, if you’re ready to link arms! 👯‍♀️)

Stop trying to finish the year, and start being present...

11/11/2025

I'm not a huge visionary.

So instead of the word 'vision,' I talk a lot about 'alignment.'

Aligning what you're doing...with who you are.

Or what you want to BE. Or what you want to HAVE.

So I want to call this out to you today: What do YOU want?

What outcome—personally and professionally—aligns with you who are and what you want out of life?

Because as my mentor Brian McRae likes to say,

"When 'what' becomes clear, the 'who' and the 'how' will appear."

That is, when you when you know what you want, and you align yourself with making it happen...
..the right people and the right opportunities will magically start to show up.

So my challenge for you today: Before you write another to-do list, take 15 minutes to define your "WHAT" for 2026. Get it on paper, feel the clarity, and start getting aligned.

What do you need to get clear on? Let me know! 👇
