Last month, our community was filled with wonder, connection, and a few “wow” moments 🦅✨ We were grateful to welcome the World Bird Sanctuary who brought a bald eagle and other birds of prey to visit our residents.

For individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, moments like these go beyond facts and details—they tap into feelings. You could see it in the smiles, the focused gazes, and the sense of awe as residents took in their presence. Even when words are hard to find, emotions remain, and this day brought feelings of calm, curiosity, and joy.

We’re thankful for experiences that meet our residents where they are and create meaningful moments that stay in the heart long after the visit ends. 💙

🎨✨ We had the BEST time getting creative with our Artfully Aging watercolor class this week at Family Partners Home!

This program is seriously one of my favorites—designed just for seniors, no experience needed, and 100% joy-filled. Watching our residents tap into their artistic side and light up with pride over their work… it’s the kind of stuff that fills your heart. 💛🖌️

We had a plaid-tastic time celebrating Father’s Day here at Family Partners Home with our very own Plaid Dad’s Picnic! 💙

The day was filled with laughter, delicious picnic treats, games, music, and—of course—lots of plaid! From proud dads to loving grandfathers and father figures, we honored the incredible men who bring strength, love, and guidance to our families every day.
