Happy Tuesday! I’ll just be over here sipping on my post run smoothie pretending I’m on a tropical island 😝

If you know me, you know I love my smoothies! I try to mix it up each day, some days I end up having the same combo over and over. It happens🤷🏼‍♀️
This morning I was feeling tropical 🌴

Frozen strawberries and peaches, one fresh orange, ginger and turmeric root, vanilla protein and a splash of vanilla macadamia milk! Yum! Turned out so good!

I’m all about getting straight to the point. Straight to the nutrition that is. 🤟🏼
Ever notice how I put micro greens on pretty much EVERYTHING? Only thing I don’t think I’ve put them on yet is my smoothies, but let’s be honest I’ll probably be doing that soon🤪

🌱MICROGREENS🌱
What are they? They’re essentially seedlings of edible vegetables and herbs.
These babies (no pun intended! Lol) are PACKED with nutrition. Studies have shown that micro greens are loaded with nutrients, way more than their mature leaves.
Although they can’t replace mature vegetables entirely as they provide you with the necessary fiber your body needs, they may fill in the other gaps in your dietary needs.

Next time you’re at the market, give them a try! They’re a fun way to add color and flavor to any dish.

This salad by the way was bomb and I highly recommend making it!
Salad mix, steamed beets, slivered almonds, chickpeas, vegan herbed cheese and micro greens (duh!) and a citrus vinaigrette.
