The Red Cross is in urgent need of blood donations.

Did you know that patients with sickle cell disease, who are predominantly Black, can require multiple blood transfusions every year. Donated blood must be very closely matched to the donor’s blood type to avoid transfusion-related complications. FYI....Beginning Wednesday, January 19th, you can order free rapid COVID-19 test kits through the government at the following website www.covidtests.gov

A total of four test kits can be ordered per household. Feel free to share this information with your family members, relatives and friends.

Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests. The tests are completely free. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days.
