This November, Beacon of Hope Hospice – Galesburg Branch is hosting a Canned Soup Drive to help keep our local seniors warm and nourished through the colder months.

If you have any extra cans of soup, please consider donating!
📍 Drop off location: 1235 N Henderson St., Galesburg
🕗 Donations accepted: Tuesday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

If you’d like to help but can’t make it to the office, let us know — we’ll gladly arrange a pickup!

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Tina 🌟

Meet Tina, our dedicated Social Worker at Beacon of Hope Hospice in Blue Springs! 💜

Tina has been part of our BOH family for the past two years, bringing compassion, advocacy, and heart to every patient and family she serves. Before joining Beacon of Hope, she spent over four years at KC Shepherd’s Center in Kansas City, MO, as a Medicare Counselor and Lead Integrated Care Manager.

Tina is deeply passionate about supporting marginalized populations and advocating for older adults. She believes aging is a natural and meaningful part of life, and she’s committed to helping individuals and families navigate the end-of-life journey with dignity, understanding, and compassion.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys life as a proud wife and mother of three. She finds peace in nature, loves to travel, and spends her free time walking her fur baby Stella, exploring her family genealogy, reading, painting, writing, and crocheting. 🩵

We’re so grateful to have Tina as part of the Beacon of Hope Hospice team—thank you for all that you do to make a difference every single day! 🌈
