We are hoping you will join us to learn about the top rejection codes, appeal Information, and coding updates at our annual Medicare Event for the Greater St. Louis MGMA. Our speaker is Ellen Berra and she is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the AAPC. Her Medicare experience began in 1981 while working for a clinic. She began working for a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) in 1984, joining Provider Outreach & Education in 1996. Ellen’s Medicare experience includes:
• Front desk staff for an outpatient clinic providing radiology and clinical lab
• Claims
• Appeals
• Congressional Inquiries
• Fair Hearings
