‼️EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

Optimal Movement Rehabilitation and Performance is finally GROWING!

My mission is and will continue to be to help as many people as possible move smarter, perform better, and live optimally through providing exceptional care and helping every patient achieve their fitness and movement goals. With that being said, providing extraordinary care means having the absolute best providers and team to achieve this goal and I could not be more excited to bring Ed on to help me live out this dream!

Like myself, Ed is a St. Louis native who specializes in the rehabilitation and performance training of athletes.  After suffering a career ending baseball injury as a sophomore in college, Ed obtained his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Missouri Baptist University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri.  Since completing his schooling, Ed has gone on to rehabilitate and train athletes from the MLB, NFL, UFC, and the University of Missouri’s baseball, football, track and field, swim and dive, and volleyball teams.  While Ed has a special interest in the rehabilitation of overhead athletes, his passion lies in helping his clients to maximize their abilities and prolong their athletic careers.

Together we will embark on our mission to make Optimal Movement the premiere rehab and performance name in STL and beyond. We have so many exciting ideas, innovations, and projects coming down the pipeline and we can’t wait to share it with you all!

Ed will be accepting patients starting March 6th at , one of the premiere gyms in the STL area.I will be posting his schedule link so you can book directly with him on my site shortly!

Thank you all for continuing to support my small business and sending all of your friends, family, and loved ones to me! Without you all, this wouldn’t be possible! Here’s to growth and changing more lives!

Another 1st phorm/S2 banquet in the books and I could not be more proud to stand by side and watch all the amazing things both of these companies are doing on a daily basis to truly make a difference. No one does it better, period.

Aaron, you are one hell of a husband, leader, co-worker, and friend. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say you make everyone around you better, including myself, and inspire those around you to do more, be more, and chase your dreams (even if it a started with a geology degree🤣). You make me more than proud to be your wife and I love you more than words can say.

I am forever grateful to be a part of and surrounded by the movement, culture, and people that is truly 1st phorm and I can’t wait to see where they are in the next 10 years!

Had the best night out for an even better cause last night at the annual gala! Could not be more proud to watch our friends and change lives everyday both in St. Louis and Haiti and beyond honored to be a part of it all! Being able to sit, watch, and listen to all the stories and work being done in the last several years by this amazing organization was nothing short of amazing and it is shown through all the childrens lives being changed everyday.

So proud of my sweet husband and the whole team at 1st phorm for all the amazing work their doing through 30 For The Kids to help brace for impact and the lives of so many in need!

Good luck and safe travels to all the guys traveling to Haiti today to the orphanage! Don’t worry I’ll hold down the fort in STL until you’re back 😘

“Today is your opportunity to build the tomorrow you want”

I just heard this recently and it really stuck with me. Let’s be honest, who’s motivated every single day? I’ll be the first to admit I’m definitely not especially with all of the stressors that life brings. But I am disciplined enough to do what needs to be done in order to be the very best version of myself in the years to come.

Whether it’s with work/business, fitness, nutrition, and even personal relationships, I can promise you the motivation to be 110% at all of those things will not always be there. It’s discipline, time management, and the sustainable habits you create that will allow you to truly reach your goals, stay on track, and get to the finish line.

A couple of things that I’ve implemented in the last couple of years that have allowed me to be successful and finally be confident in my skin:

-I make myself a priority. I train 6/7 days a week with an emphasis on functional strength and cardiovascular health. Even on days I don’t feel like it, I try to move my body for atleast 30-45 minutes. Making myself a priority means I can be my best for others!

-I live by the 80/20 rule! 80% of the time my nutrition is on point (Whole Foods, nutrient dense, 1.25g of protein/body weight, and 100 ounces of water) and the other 20% Aaron and I are doing what we do best, trying new delicious food or eating whole pizzas.

-I aim for 10-12,000 steps a day! If my schedule is jammed pack, I try to use every little break and pre and post work to get small walks in!

-Set goals for yourself, big and small! They can be as small as a handstand or Half marathon or as big as owning a business but I’m a firm believer that having clear goals is a huge piece of staying disciplined and on those days you don’t feel like it, look at those goals and give yourself a reminder of why you’re doing what you’re doing!

-Make lists and use a planned/calendar. This is something Aaron and I do when we’re stressed and it really helps us re-collect and organize our thoughts and priorities!

Remember, it’s never easy, but it’s always worth it!

Hiiii! Happy Monday friends💕

Some of you have been following me a while and some of you are new here so I thought I would reintroduce myself:

📌I’m a 29 year old Doctor of Physical Therapy with a true passion for orthopedics and sports ⚽️

📌I started my own cash based physical therapy practice in February 2020 inside a sports performance gym! yes quite literally when COVID started🙃 Instead of letting that scare me I decided to take it as an opportunity to make something great. I learned to scale my online business and have now scaled my in person patient business to an average of 35-40 appointments a week.

📌I have 2, 3 year old frenchies, bella and beau that some may say I am too obsessed with. Just ask my husband Aaron Summers - 1st Phorm] I put the psycho in psycho dog mom 🤣

📌I married the absolute best human on the planet (and the best beard on the planet) Aaron Summers - 1st Phorm] who I’m grateful for everyday. The smartest, most thoughtful, loving human I know.

📌I’ve always been a huge daddy’s girl and got my world turned upside down when I lost my father earlier this year in March. Watching a parent fight for their life for over 2 years against cancer changes you and It has completely opened my eyes to a whole different perspective on life.

📌I’m a retired college soccer player that loves to still play indoor and juggle on occasion to remind my husband I’m still the better athlete 😝

📌I love all things food and fitness! Seems counterintuitive right? I believe in a balanced lifestyle, so there’s nothing I love more than trying a new restaurant or eating an entire pizza from by myself 🤣

📌When it comes to fitness, I love to constantly challenge myself and not tie myself to one thing so I dabble in a little bit of all of it! My one true love is weightlifting, but I’ve also completed a half iron man and recently started down the dark hole that one calls golf and signed up for an adult gymnastics class🤣

📌Coffee is my love language! My go to currently at local shops is an iced oat milk lavendar latte, and if I’m feeling spicy I’ll add an extra shot!

Grateful for you all and this platform that allows me to connect with some pretty awesome people 💕

✨Friday Vibes ✨

Feeling extra Grateful and blessed for a life filled with amazing friends & family (and fur babies), a fulfilling career that allows me to meet the most incredible people, and the most, supportive husband in the whole world!

Just a quick shoutout to the most wonderful husband, my best friend, and the absolute best support system I could ask for.

It’s been a rough 2.5 years from my dads diagnosis, his surgery followed immediately by a pandemic,me quitting my corporate job and pursuing my dream of my own cash based physical therapy (that I started a week before my dads major surgery🙃 and 2 weeks before the world shut down), planning a wedding, having our wedding, and both of us working close to 60 hours a week while trying to spend as much time as possible with my dad and also trying to enjoy our first year of marriage. But Aaron Summers - 1st Phorm] was there for it all and nothing but positive, loving, and optimistic.

No one prepares you for that kind of maddness and tragedy especially the first year of marriage.
It can be a lonely road when trying to run a business and take care of a sick parent and lot of people don’t understand, but this guy stuck by my side the entire time, held me when I cried, went to my dads appointments, helped take care of him the last few weeks when he really started to decline, and still managed to make me laugh until I peed my pants several times🤣

Thank you for being the best husband and supporter, encouraging me to follow my dreams and reminding me I can do hard things even admist everything going on and the numerous times I wanted to quit, and loving me and my family so fiercely. I am so beyond grateful for you, love you forever Aaron Summers - 1st Phorm]

I know my dad loved you and was so grateful I found such an amazing man to stand by my side throughout this crazy life.❤️
