Dr. T on a Mac & Chee because December is basically one long comfort meal.

Holiday food is cozy, nostalgic, and delicious. It is also rich, heavy, and usually eaten while stressed, distracted, or standing at the kitchen counter pretending it does not count. That combination is why so many people experience bloating, sluggish digestion, fatigue, headaches, and body tension this time of year.

Here is what most people do not realize. Digestion is controlled by your nervous system. When you are rushed, overwhelmed, or overstimulated, your body struggles to properly break down heavier foods like dairy and refined carbs. It is not always the food. It is the state your body is in when you eat it.

Try this simple holiday reset the next time mac and cheese shows up.
🧀 Sit down and slow your pace
😮‍💨 Take one deep breath before your first bite
🫗 Drink water before eating instead of during
🚶‍♀️ Take a short walk after the meal to help digestion and reduce bloating

When food stress, gut discomfort, and tension become a pattern, acupuncture including needle free options and chiropractic care at my office can help regulate the nervous system, support digestion, reduce inflammation, and help your body handle the holiday season with more ease.

Dr. T on a Mac & Cheese is here to remind you that enjoying comfort food and feeling good afterward can exist at the same time.✨🧀

Dr. T on a Broccoli is your reminder that the holidays do not have to be all or nothing.

December is full of rich foods, late nights, stress, travel, and sugar. That combination can leave you feeling bloated, run down, inflamed, tired, and wondering why your body suddenly feels heavier than usual.

Broccoli is one of the simplest foods you can add this time of year to help your body stay balanced. It supports digestion, helps the liver process excess sugar and fats, provides vitamin C for immune support, and delivers antioxidants that calm inflammation caused by stress and poor sleep.

Here is a simple holiday wellness reset you can try this week.

🥦 Add one serving of greens to your day even if the rest of your meals feel indulgent
💧 Drink a full glass of water before coffee or alcohol to support digestion and energy
😮‍💨 Take three slow breaths before eating to help your nervous system shift into digestion mode
🚶‍♀️ Move gently after meals to reduce bloating and stiffness

And when your body needs more support than food alone can offer, acupuncture including needle free options and chiropractic care at my O’Fallon office can help calm the nervous system, improve digestion, reduce inflammation, and support your overall wellness during the holiday season.

Dr. T on a Broccoli has more grounded holiday health tips coming your way for O’Fallon, Winghaven, Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, St. Charles, and Chesterfield.🌿✨

Dr. T on Honey is here with a little golden reminder that nature built some powerful support systems long before the holiday season existed. And honey is one of them.

Raw honey is more than a sweet treat. It contains over 200 active compounds that support the body during cold weather, high stress and long holiday schedules. Antioxidants, natural enzymes, phytonutrients and soothing properties all work together to help your throat, your gut and your energy stay steady when winter hits.

Here are a few ways raw honey works inside the body that most people do not know.

🍯 Supports your gut lining
A healthy gut means better digestion, less irritation after heavy meals and a stronger immune response. Honey has prebiotic properties that help feed good bacteria so your gut stays balanced through holiday stress and sweets.

🌬️ Calms the throat and respiratory system
A spoonful of raw honey can soothe irritation, reduce coughing and coat the throat in a way that helps calm inflammation naturally.

✨ Helps the body recover from stress
Chronic stress weakens the immune system, but honey’s antioxidants help reduce the oxidative load your body carries when you are overwhelmed, underslept or running nonstop in December.

⚡ Provides smoother energy
Unlike processed sugar, raw honey digests more slowly and gives your body a steadier release of fuel. Perfect for afternoon fatigue during holiday chaos.

Pair these natural benefits with clinical care for even stronger results. At my O’Fallon office, acupuncture including needle free options, chiropractic adjustments and holistic therapies help calm the nervous system, support immune function, reduce inflammation and improve recovery during the busiest time of year.

Try adding one teaspoon of raw honey to warm tea or lemon water this week and notice how your throat, energy and digestion respond.

Dr. T on a Cranberr-ee is here to remind you that your immune system deserves a little backup this holiday season.

December is the month when cold and flu searches skyrocket, sinus pressure kicks in, stress runs high and your body feels the impact of travel, late nights, big meals and temperature changes.

Cranberries are one of the most powerful holiday foods for supporting your immune system. They are loaded with antioxidants, vitamin C, anti inflammatory compounds and gut friendly nutrients that help keep your defenses strong when everyone around you is sniffling.

Here are a few immune boosting tips you can try this season:

Tip 1 🍒
Add pure cranberry juice or fresh cranberries to your meals. The antioxidants help reduce inflammation and support your immune response.

Tip 2 💧
Focus on hydration. Water, warm teas and electrolyte drinks help flush toxins, thin mucus and keep your lymphatic system moving so your immune system can work efficiently.

Tip 3 🦠
Support your gut. Most of your immune system lives there, and cranberries naturally help balance gut bacteria and reduce irritation that weakens immunity.

Tip 4 🌞
Get sunlight or take a short walk during the day. Fresh air and vitamin D help regulate immune function, mood, energy and stress levels.

At my office, I help strengthen the immune system through acupuncture including needle free options, chiropractic adjustments that improve nerve flow and holistic treatments that support your body’s natural ability to fight illness and stay balanced during the busiest time of year.

Stay tuned as Dr. T on a Cranberr-ee continues watching over your wellness for O’Fallon, Winghaven, Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, St. Charles, St Louis and Chesterfield. 🌿✨

🍪Dr. T on a COOKIE… watching all of us pretend holiday foods don’t instantly turn us into puffy, bloated versions of ourselves. ’Tis the season to be toxic, right?

Between the sugar, the dairy, the gluten, the cookies, the cocktails and the charcuterie boards that somehow count as dinner, December becomes the month when Google searches for bloating, indigestion, inflammation, IBS flare ups, fatigue and stress skyrocket.

If your stomach has been singing Christmas carols against your will, you are not alone. The holiday food lineup is fun in the moment, but your gut, liver and nervous system usually send you the bill the next day.

Here is a quick gut saving tip for the season:
Take a slow deep breath before you eat, unclench your jaw, relax your shoulders and let your nervous system settle. Digestion improves when your body switches out of stress mode, and even one breath can make a difference.

At my office I help support digestion, reduce inflammation and calm stomach tension with acupuncture including needle free options, chiropractic adjustments that improve nerve flow and holistic treatments that help your body reset after all the festive chaos.

Stay tuned for more holiday health hacks as Dr. T keeps an eye on your stress, your spine and your snack table. Serving O’Fallon, Winghaven, Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, St. Charles and Chesterfield. 🍪✨

Dr. T on a Tree… keeping an eye on the holiday stress that always seems to land right in your neck and shoulders. 😂

December is the month when neck tension, tight shoulders, jaw clenching, headaches and stress spikes hit an all time high. Between shopping, driving, wrapping gifts, working, hosting and trying to sleep with a racing mind, your neck ends up doing way more heavy lifting than your elf ever did.

If your shoulders are climbing toward your ears, if your neck feels stiff or crunchy or if stress is showing up as tightness you just cannot shake, you are not the only one. It is one of the top searched symptoms in December for a reason.

Here is a simple tension releasing hack you can try today.
Sit tall, drop your shoulders down, gently tuck your chin toward your chest and take three slow breaths while you imagine widening your collarbones. This signals your nervous system to relax and helps release the muscles that get tight from stress and screens.

At my office I help relieve neck pain, tension, headaches, stress and jaw tightness with chiropractic care, acupuncture including needle free options and holistic treatments that calm the nervous system and let your body finally relax.

Stay tuned all month for more stress relief tips and holiday neck saving hacks. Dr. T on a Tree is watching your posture and cheering you on from O’Fallon, Winghaven, Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, St. Charles and Chesterfield.🌿✨

Hey there, it’s Dr. Trybus. I want to recommend a book I believe every patient deserves to read: Lymph and Longevity by Dr. Gerald Lemole.

Quick synopsis:
In this clear, accessible guide, Dr. Lemole shows how your body’s lymphatic system, often overlooked, acts as the silent maintenance department for your cardiovascular, neurological and immune systems. When lymphatic flow slows, toxins hang around, inflammation builds, and your risk for everything from heart disease to cognitive decline increases. He walks you through the mechanisms of the lymphatic system, then offers practical lifestyle tools like nutrition, movement, breathing, and stress reduction to boost its function.

Why I think you’ll benefit from it:
• It gives you a fresh lens for understanding why you might feel off even when all the standard labs are okay. A sluggish lymph system may be part of the puzzle.
• It offers down to earth lifestyle prescriptions, not fad fixes, to optimize your flow which can help with energy, immunity, detox, and longevity.
• It empowers you. Learning how your body cleanses, circulates, and rejuvenates gives you more control and hope.
• It complements what we’re doing in the clinic. If we’re working on inflammation, cardiovascular risk, brain health, or general wellness, this gives you a roadmap to support those goals from the inside out.

So, if you’re ready to take your health into your own hands and explore a system many of us forget about but sorely need, pick up Lymph and Longevity. Let’s use knowledge to help your body heal, flow, and thrive.

See you at your next appointment…bring any questions you get from the book and we’ll talk through them together.

Stress doesn’t just live in your head. It hides in your shoulders, your jaw, your spine. It shows up as neck pain, tightness, fatigue, headaches, anxiety, poor sleep, and that constant feeling of being “on.”

You can’t outstretch, outcoffee, or outrun it, but you can realign it. 🌿

At my O’Fallon office, I help patients release stress that’s stored in the body through chiropractic care, acupuncture including needle-free options, and holistic treatments that calm the nervous system, lower cortisol, and reset your body for lasting relief.

If you’re dealing with chronic stress, tension headaches, jaw clenching, back pain, sciatica, fatigue, or anxiety, this is your reminder that stress doesn’t have to control your life.

Serving Winghaven, O’Fallon, Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, Ballwin, St. Charles, Chesterfield, and the greater St. Louis area.

Find your calm, restore your balance, and feel what real relief can be. ✨

No Needles Necessary.🚨

The laser light penetrates the skin without breaking it, targeting the same acupuncture points that needles would, stimulating them through light energy or photons. This gentle approach, known as laser acupuncture or photobiomodulation, uses red and near-infrared light to promote healing, reduce inflammation, and restore balance at the cellular level.

It’s completely painless, noninvasive, and ideal for anyone who’s curious about acupuncture but not a fan of needles. Laser acupuncture can help relieve back pain, neck pain, shoulder tension, sciatica, hip and knee pain, TMJ and jaw tightness, headaches, migraines, stress, anxiety, fatigue, sleep issues, digestive problems like bloating and IBS, and even inflammation and hormone imbalance.

By activating your body’s natural healing process, laser acupuncture improves circulation, boosts cellular repair, and calms the nervous system, helping you feel more relaxed, aligned, and energized.

Now available at my office in O’Fallon, Missouri, serving Winghaven, Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, St. Charles, Chesterfield, and the greater St. Louis area.

Your healing journey doesn’t have to involve needles. Sometimes, all it takes is light. 🌿💡
