Horses and Healing

Throughout history, horses have been along side with humans. They faithfully served in countless capacities prior to the industrial revolution. Horses today are prized for sport and recreation purposes and perhaps their most important role as the catalyst for Healing.

Arise Equine Therapy Foundation is a 501 (c)3 non profit Providing Equine Assisted Growth and Learning in St Charles County. Our Founder, while working as a therapeutic riding instructor witnessed the benefits participants achieved in their physical health, but their was more growth happening, emotional and behavioral learning. Fascinated by the transformation individuals were experiencing Arise Equine Therapy was formed in 2011 to focus on the personal development that is gained through EAP (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy).

Rising above life’s challenges is attainable. Engaging in Equine Assisted Growth and Learning is a proven, highly successful treatment for individuals, families and groups. Adults and youth have overcome challenges through their experiences with the horses and the professional team guiding them to their solutions.
