I owe you a little honesty — I’ve been quieter on here lately. OTA school officially started, and I’ve been learning (again) how to balance school, family, business, and my own nervous system. Growth seasons are real.

Today I want to share something that’s very personal and close to my heart.

My sister passed away from scleroderma in June 2006—a disease that most people have never even heard of, yet it affects thousands of lives and families. Watching her fight it showed me how fierce and unrelenting it can be… and how important awareness, support, and research truly are.

🧠 What is scleroderma?
It’s an autoimmune connective-tissue disease that causes hardening and tightening of the skin and can affect internal organs. There’s no cure yet, and the symptoms are different for everyone. It’s not just “skin deep”—it can impact muscles, blood vessels, lungs, the digestive system, and more.

Every year, we volunteer with the Scleroderma Foundation Run/Walk at Kreefkorp Park (usually the first Saturday in September or October) to honor her and support others living with this disease. It’s become more than an event—it's a community of strength, remembrance, and real hope.

A network of independent massage therapists since 2007. Starting in Bridgeton next to DePaul Hospital and moving to Chesterfield in 2008. Growing to 4 rooms and 1 private fitness room with about 2,000 regular clients. Our LMTs have at least 7 years experience in a variety of massage modalities, including energywork with sound and meditation. Steady expanding we now can offer Personal Training and Private Yoga sessions.
