Today was an extraordinary day that uplifted our spirits with sumptuous foods and outstanding company! We were so focused on ensuring everyone had full plates and left with full hearts that we forgot to capture pictures of our Thanksgiving dinner. ☹️ The meal was prepared by Nick Sevin and his amazing crew, featuring turkey and ham (that you could smell throughout the place), authentic potatoes, homemade cranberry sauce and decadent homemade pies...all crafted with love to nourish both body and soul!

Tabi and crew have arranged tables with unidentified laundry items. If your loved one is missing clothing, blankets, etc., please inspect the tables and remember to label any identified items before returning them to the closet.

October was National Physical Therapy Month and we proudly recognize two outstanding individuals whose unwavering dedication inspires hope and empowers others to be the best they can be!

AMY COLE, PT - Amy has worked at abundant acres since June 2024. Amy graduated from the University of Nebraska with a BS in exercise physiology. A few short years later, she graduated with the BS degree in physical therapy from KU med center in Kansas City, Kansas. Amy has 39 years of experience as a physical therapist. Her work experience and work history has varied over the years. She started her career as an outpatient physical therapist specializing in work hardening and ergonomics, hand therapy, manual therapy, and temporomandibular joint dysfunction. From there, she transitioned into home health physical therapy for 20 years serving patients in five counties in Northwest Missouri. She has been serving the skilled nursing home care population since 2014. Amy has four amazing children and 10 incredible grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys helping her husband on the farm and loves snow skiing and traveling!

SUR PALMER, PTA - After enjoying her years as an attorney and instructor, Sue decided to pursue a new adventure in physical therapy. She graduated with the physical therapist assistant degree in 2022 and begin working as a PTA at the current Abundant Acres center under its former management. Sue finds fulfillment in seeing patients improvement in their physical health. Sue enjoys gardening, concerts and road trips with her to adult children.
